  did you have elders in your congregation that were in positions they could not handle?

  we used to have a school overseer that was one of the worst public speakers we ever had.

  funny watching mothers faces while their child was being counseled on a point that the school overseer himself never mastered.

  i went to my local coffee shop at 11:10am on saturday morning.

  not thinking that about 40 witnesses would be arriving.

  there i was standing in line, the two parties in front of me were taking forever.

  i remember finding 2 week old lottery tickets in a elders car i was working on.

  he said they must have been from the previous owner.

  he owned the car for over a year and a half and the lottery tickets were just a little over two weeks old.

  i just had my first "annual" visit since leaving over 3 years ago.

  someone in my family told me elder so and so stopped to see me.

  so i knew they were on my trail.

  How many out here.....

  how many out here know a loved one or know of someone who suffers from depression and it is from being in the borg and never feel you are doing enough.

  my ex wife would always lapse into a few month state of depression right after a visit from the c/o and getting pounded on about f/s hours or not enough studies or not enough pioneers yadda yadda yadda.

  i know with my ex that the constant fear of armageddon and feeling inadequate was a depression trigger ready to be pulled at any instant.
