  Help a lurking dub with doubts

  i've been lurking about, checking out some of the evidence against the wtbs.

  i am currently inactive but still an approved/baptized member.

  i have seen all the 1914/607bce evidence; the blood transfusion quandry evidence; the current child abuse problem evidence and several other things that are damning to the wt doctrines.

  Welcome undercover. I understand all your questions, and I know what you are going through. If you have seen the answers on the issues you first spoke about, then it sounds like you are already getting the answers you are looking for. All I can suggest is to keep doing your homework, and hopefully you will find peace in the decision that you make. There are people here who have been thru some really terrible things. Some are bitter, some dont care any more and some will listen and try to help you get thru. Just know this, it doesnt happen over night, and it will take time for you to take it all in. The best thing to remember is that there are people out there for you and are willing to help you every step of the way. It takes time to take in understanding of something that you have believed for a very long time to be the truth, and then to have your doubts, and to find out that it actually is not the truth.

  am i the only one who went totally wild (sexually) when i got df'd?

  well, i actually went wild when i turned 21 and became inactive.

  Really you should not minimize my faith or the faith of any other Witnesses. It's minimal enough on its own; but it's all we have. I'm by far the humblest and holiest guy here, and damn proud of it, too

  First of all sword, if you were a servant of Jehovah the way I was taught for 10 years, you wouldnt be any where near this board, unless your trying to get extra field service time. Then second you better be prepared to get the SWORD if they find out you are even talking with anyone on this board.

  Sounds like by your reply to this topic, your living a secret life anyway.

  As for the answer to the question, It was good while going to the hall, but now it is on a totally different level. I never thought it could be this good.

  LB, that is really cool. I dont know what I want yet, but I think I am going to get it either on my ancle, or on my back behind my shoulder. They have alot of really nice ones, so I'm still shopping.

  I think hubby is going to get one too. We are the coolest grandparents!!!!!!

  sad, sick and unmerciful you must be, to accept that a little girl's life is taken at just 15 when it could have been saved.

  a book that hints blood transfusion is the work of the 'devil'.

  a supernatural being that we don't know for certain exists.

  Wow Jane, those are some pretty harsh statements. But the problem is, is that you kept saying YOUR beliefs, and most of the people on this board are no longer in the organization. We just talk about the things we have gone through as former witnessess. I agree with everything you have said about the jw's and what they believe. I am sorry for your anger on the subject, and I hope you found relief in getting it out. We are here if you would like to talk about it.

  I am sorry to hear about your mother. I too do not believe that God killed your mother. Although I do not have the answers as to why, I know that there is a great deal of pain when we loose someone we love. My first husband was killed at the age of 29, and I always asked God why did he do that, or allow that to happen. I dont know if we will ever understand why things happen the way they do, but my prayers and thoughts are with you thru this hard time in your life. Again welcome and hope to chat with you sometime.

  let me share with you my great news............................ someone from this board has given me the greatest gift i have had in a very long time!!!!!

  i recieved an email last night from someone asking me if i could find a place to stay they would buy my ticket so i could be at the march on the 27th.
