I agree they masquerade as a charity but don't ever give money to the needy. Just funnel it into projects like Temple Farm UK. Kate xx

This is a huge property development plan for a charity to be taking on. It just shows how financially corrupt they are. WT are just a property development company. Kate xx

My kids are my world to me. Life is like a pie chart full of different things we fill our life with and children can be one of those segments. At the moment you want more than can fit in your pie chart. You need to decide what is more important to you a career of family, most women struggle to balance both unless they had kids young, I was at uni when my daughter was 2yrs old. I could have a flourishing career now if it wasn't for packing it in for pioneering.

morning-after drug - any members with thoughts?
by berrygerry ininternally, being a father of many children, and being present for ultrasounds and other testing, etc., i appreciate the value of life.. as i understand it, the after-morning pill essentially terminates a 1 or 2 day old conception.. are there any thoughts about this?.

Proper family planning is important, but there is no problem in my mind about using the morning after pill, it's resposible if the timing is not right for a child. Kate xx

one last step..Is being mentally out the same as being emotionally out?
by MissFit inwe talk here about the importance of being mentally and physically out to be really free.. what about being emotionally free?.
i realized for me, i had to be emotionally awake first.
i had been yo-young back and forth for years.

I am mentally out and physically out. But your thread has got me thinking, I have been physically out for almost a year and I still think I am emotionally conected in some way. I can't quite put my finger on it but I am connected to loved ones and the thought that they are nice decent people. I have slowly moved on and don't keep in touch regularly.
I think I need to work on becoming emotionally free too, but I am not quite sure how to do it.

Latest stage
by thedog1 ini've posted on and off here over the past year, but not much recently.
anyone who read my previous posts will know that i started learning all sorts of surprising things about jehovah's witnesses about a year or so ago, well, surprising to me anyway.
i feel very sad now as it is getting harder and harder to go to meetings.

I was a serving brother up to not so long ago, but cited my family situation as a reason for jumping ship from that responsibility.-thedog1
The fact you have stepped down as an elder is a step in the right direction. Well done! you need to concentrate on your wife now and just miss meetings with her, do something fun like go to a movie or out for a meal when you miss the meetings if she is up for it.

This is really sad and at the same time quite frightening. There seems to be no solution how to stop these killers, lets hope the authorities can put some strategies into place to prevent this unprovoked attack happening again.

This is all good news, my son goes with his dad and doesn't want to be a JW. I am hoping his opinion remains stable, but I still have my concerns that he may be manipulated into getting baptised by the dangling carrot of more privileges, like getting to hold the mic.
This thread has shown how capeable this generation are and how confident they can be, plus my son has family already out which will make it easier for him to leave when he is of age.
