sorry guys, no post-armaggedon teachings here but.... i asked an elder if those outside of the tri-state area would have to travel all the way to patterson to attend the school and he said yes.. he also said it would be difficult for him to attend as he would need to take 2 weeks off - i said that's most people's vacation in a year.. the other thing he said that bothered him was giving his employer enough notice to take the 2 weeks off.. so, for an elder living in the south, how would they be able to afford to get to new york?
is anyone going to pay their return flight?.
according to this elder, the presiding overseers attend the school first, and then the rest go out in batches.. .

i can remember going to canada for a weekend on two occasions.
the first was a school trip sponsored by the french club (which is a club of people that have been in french iii class).
the purpose of this was to spend a weekend in a city where french is the native language.
