On one level I agree with you, yet this is also one of the things I admire about Charlene. She is truly determined to make sure she can comply with what she believes are "God's" requirements. To this end, she has taken a menial position as a night stocker so she can be available for her meetings and study. That shows character, IMO. Misguided, yes. But she is really trying, and I admire that.
