  History Channel -Tonight: UFOs In the Bible

  today on history channel:monday, july 26 @ 8pm et/pt journey back through time into the mysterious world of ufos as revealed through ancient biblical texts.

  through intensive reinterpretation of early religious documents, researchers believe that they have found evidence of ancient ufo activity.

  from elijah's flying "chariots of fire" to ezekiel's "wheels within wheels in the sky", and even the enigmatic aerial phenomenon leading moses during the exodus, we put a modern perspective on the writings of the bible in the context of ufos.

  added a warm feeling to my life.

  the darkness of a cloudy day.... falls prey to winter snow.... the shades are drawn.... now shutting out..... the wicked afterglow.... your heart in search of something.... that was lost so long ago.... the innocence and virtues.... in a world that no one knows... .

  a summer day was hot and long.... spent laughing..so carefree.... and now you hunger... silent.... for what can never be.... the warmth of arms that cradled.... blew away ... with spring time winds... .

  We helped a boy in a car crash last night...made us think about things

  last night we were coming home from a night of dancing,and came upon a really bad wreck, a young man, had flipped his jeep, several times and his car was on fire.

  we must have just missed the wreck, because there were two cars there that saw it and they didnt know what to do......i told my hubby as we stopped to see if anyone had called 911 yet, and asked him to ask if anyone needed first aid.

  i am not in the medical field but i know enough first aid to help until the emt arrived.

  simon...thank you for having this site available.... avishai and lady lee, and all others involved with care and treatment, keep up the good work.

  as the survivor of a sexual assault that occurred when i was 10 and a few years later under the guise of treatment help, i have always found it difficult to describe the fury of emotions and self-assessment that followed the crime.

  even though i coped, my struggle is made insignificant with words.

  Memorial Day Shame

  today is memorial day in the united states, a day when soldiers killed in war are honored.. those who served their country, died for their country, ......are remembered.

  accolades, parades and flowers are all over the place but no money!!!!.

  some soldiers qualify for food stamps, veterans are fearful of more cuts to their benefits.

  Discipline or abuse - Which?

  i am having a discussion on another board about the topic of disciplining children.

  some people seem to think that as long as the child did something to "deserve" it then the parent has the right to hit anyway they want.. grrrr.

  many of us grew up in a society that accepted the practice of corporal punishment.

  EUTHANASIA

  how do you feel about euthanasia for people that are terminally ill and have no hope of recovery?

  should it be made legal for them to be allowed to die a peaceful death by a simple injection as opposed to dying a painful and agonizing death?

  i ask, because a co-worker of mine is dying of cancer and he's in alot of pain.

  so, i'm at the public library to pick up a book i had placed on hold.

  while i'm there, i decide to check out a book for my daughter that she had been wanting to read.

  i go to the children's section for 9 to 12 year olds.
