Different situation. And they were all nationalized long ago. Read a book.

    Deeewwww Wut?

I'm confused, discriminating against different shades of dark is somehow different? Is it because black folks already paid their dues in Texas for their slave service or what?

If you REALLY lived in Texas you probably know that there are many African nationals living there. They have not been "nationalized" (I think you mean NATURALIZED maybe? Are you a furriner because you are not using correct English! If anyone ever wanted an example of "irony" I think this would be a perfect one)

If you REALLY lived in Texas, you would know that Texans use regional expressions that tend to distinguish them from the rest of the US. "Nuke-You-Lar" in place of "nuclear" is a famous one that is delivered almost nightly over the TV by our President. I can't understand those damn Texans. I think we should make a law that says they have to speak English.

And Hambeak? "Yo Hablo Espanol fluentamente?" Are you being intentionally ironic as well or what? "Fluentemente" is not a spanish word. Try "Yo hablo Espanol con fluidez". Reminds me of the PO who would say (from the pulpit) "I am sexually excited to be here" because he thought he could speak French when obviously he could not.

Sorry for the grammar bashing, but the errors are just too darn funny given the context.

Minister amos If you really live in Alabama one of the states with the highest ratios of kkk maybe you are bleeding a little to liberaly. The whole idea is not RACE it is THE LEGAL STATUS OF RESIDENTS.

In economic terms, illegal immigrants are making rational decisions based on a relatively open labor market. Its very ironic that the ones who politically lean toward an ideal "free market" system are the most outspoken against immigrants taking "their jobs."

I do not want to seem like I am defending any supposed rights of illegals. I refuse to call them "undocumented" because I think that is a deliberate political correctedness that is unnecessary. This country was founded by all sorts of ethnicities and it is based on immigration (after the genocide of natives of course), however, immigration has to slow down or stop someday, for the simple fact of stabalizing our economic growth.

Did you know that the agricultural industry is the only industry not subject to minimum wage? Who the fuck makes these rules? It is our own god damn government taking advantage of both immigrants AND nationals in proping up bloating, subsidized industries.

Everyone pisses me off - and not talking about this forum here - but all sides of the argument. Its not fair to anyone.

    LOL! Yes, I did.

Born and raised Texan here. I don't believe I have ever said "nuke-you-lar".

I used to have a penpal in Southampton UK. I can recall the first letter I received from him. He asked if we still had to have someone riding shotgun. Talk about a skewed sense of reality.

Either you're just being an ass or you really do think in such stereotypes. I think you are probably much more disposed to racial stereotyping as well.

And all this coming from someone in a state in which this sort of thing happens - Teen Arrested for Raping his Mother... in Alabama.

this is not about race at all....anyone of any race is welcome to go through the proper legal channels and become a LEGAL resident !

If all these people were here legally and crowding or over taking different cities many poeple would still have a problem.

I'm not calling you a racist I do not know you but this issue like I said before is bringing out the tru feelings of many people.

While Minister Amos might be being a little over-the-top, I live in Texas, have all my life, and the simple fact is that racism is endemic here.

And while prevalant, it's not all that peculiar to this state.

Too bad MinisterAmos just has a problem with Texans generally and can't see past that.

A lot of people from Alabama do have a sort of natural jealousy...

Neither to this country. There is discrimination in every country. Whether racial or otherwise.

    By the way, hello Daystar.

    Hey apologists like James:

How do you condone the fact that this podunk southern fried suburb of the most redneck real-life city in the nation (Dallas) condones violating a Federally protected right?

And yes the Fair Housing Act applies to everyone.

And yes it is as illegal to inquire about national origins and status as it is to inquire about sexual orientation.

I think I have already proven that "English only" should never be made law since so few seem to speak it.

And it says I'm a Minister right on my JW ID card so it must be true.
