It a very sad situation, almost incredible...but it is true!

You and your wife will go through a lot of pain, mental

and even physical anguish, because of this kind of attitude,

and behaviour from those “ ... loving and caring ..elders ..!

Surely you have received a lot of nice counsel, even

fine advice on how to conduct yourselves in this matter.

I can understand ...I went though similar experiences

myself ...take notice of my words: some even those you

believed closed to you will consider you worst than a pair

of lepers, ...sort of unclean persons. I would like to add

to some comments : please do write to each publisher in

your congregation, a short but clear letter stating WHY

you are at the receiving end of such treatment, and to add

WEIGHT to it , enclose the United Nations DPI letter , about

the measure taken against the WTBS and to add even

more WEIGHT add the TWO “ Guardian “ articles, from

Steve Bates.

This it is only - my personal suggestion – but I think it is

a reasonable one. Furthermore I suggest to read again

and even USE the points mentioned in the article published

in the w. July 1, 2001 pages 18-21 “ ..Doubt is it always

bad? “ And use it – even in the letter – !

Unfrotunately, like many of us who tried to show the mistakes of the WT, faced the same thread: Close your mouth or you are out of the club. Dirt and corraption lies over the WT, or God's "channel".

WT had and has heard us very badly. We have an obligation for the future victims to help them. I guess there were no victims in the holocaust, right? They should have seen it coming and got out of the country, right? I guess there are no rape victims, right? They were just in an area they shouldn't have been or were dressed like they were asking for it, right?

If everyone believed that there are no victims then there would be noone fighting for justice. You say it's a fight that cannot be won and maybe you are right but IT IS A STILL WORTH FIGHTING FOR! When you get some balls and face some of these issues head on instead of running away then you will be able to feel some of the injuries expessed by these soldiers for truth and freedom. Until then, I personally, could do without your ignorant posts.

Just to clarify:

I don't believe it's possible to APPEAL a Public Reproof.

The mere act off appealing would be viewed by the JC as a sign that you were not repentant. Therefore they would counter by DF you.

I'm reminded of the saying "There's no gain without pain". You'll have to endure the pain "temporary and light" to eneter the road to freedom.
