This is how conversations with people who support Bush usually goes, it goes like that bumber sticker that reads "God said, I believe it, that settles it"... you just interchange the words god and bush. Sad thing is, after they support things like torture, invasion of our personal rights, and so on, they then have the gall to call us that know better "unpatriotic"... or we "need to pull our heads out of our asses". They quote Rush Limbaugh and Bush word for word and then tell us to think on our own... Tell US to read up on the subject. Amaizing!

I was thinking it was some form of summer fun to get cooled off. Guess not. However, if it were a form of summer fun to get cooled off. I would think it was torcher, only if you forgot sunblock and got a really bad sun burn and were out of aloe and in major pain. Other then that, I think it is okay. If you had any intelligence at all, you would understand that all I stated that waterboarding should be used because of the terrorists wanting to kill YOU, YOUR FAMILY, and ME.

Let us imagine that a terrorist had planted a nuke in NYC and he would not say where. Intelligence had suggested it and the terrorist had been captured. Lets say he was Al Qaeda and he was mocking you. Would you authorize waterboarding/torture/ etc if there was a chance you could find out where the device was, avert a huge disaster with millions of deaths, financial collapse of the world monetary system and almost certain World War.

I would. Plain and simple.

Do I agree with torture no - in 99% of circumstances.
