You prove my point exactly. You offer nothing but ridicule and sarcasm. What Gospel do you preach if you have one, Do you? If you are a Christian then how are you obeying Jesus' command at Mattjew 28:19, 20?

Finally-Free
There is no point being finally free if you have found something better to go to. Have You? I think not because you would have said so.
The date 607 BCE is most definitely well established and scholar has argued the case on this very forum for many years. Apostates rely solely on the Jonsson's published research for he is the major critic of WT chronology with some critiques by Adventists prior to Jonsson.
The evidence for 607 BCE is based on the Bible and complements secular history namely that of Josephus and well grounded Neo-Babylonian chronology or as one WT scholar desribes as 'Watchtower Neo-Babylonian Chronology'.
The NWT is 'no joke' for serious scholars but is regarded at best as the work of serious scholars and at worst, ' the most dangerous book in the world'.

"scholar"
Congratulations for your courage in providing a good defence of Jehovah's Witnesses, their beautiful and sacred teachings and its modern day organization.
Beautiful and sacred teachings founded upon the writings of the WT as authorized by the GB.
Be assured that our teaching regarding chronology especially the date 607 BCE is soundly established on the insistance of the GB and their pulications.
The date is well proven and supported by several WT scholars many of whom are qualified at University level and have made significant contributions to biblical scholarship similatr to that of the NWT Committee- which had 1 scholar who did not know coine Greek.
Apostates have studied 607 BCE and only rely on archaeological, astronomical, and historical data in addition to the Bible itself. Further, such ones only not only prove the WT wrong but do provide us with the only solution offered in the Bible- Jesus himself; If the Witnesses are not the True Religion then where is it to found today? In Jesus Christ himself. The witnesses have no coherent doctrine, no ministry, no brotherhood in short they have NOTHING to offer except ridicule and vile hatred of Truth, Justice and Christiian Freedom.
Keep up the good work

Oxymoron.

Where did you go?
For your information you have paid us a compliment of the highest order for the use of an 'oxymoron' is that used by a rhetorician in philosophical discourse. No fools there or misguided people there.

I have no need to "go" anywhere. I'm already where I need to be and it's all I want or need. I choose to embrace this life with all that it offers - good and bad. Yes, even the "bad" can help one learn and grow.
People have bickered about religion for thousands of years. It's not likely to change. I have better things to do with my limited life span than waste it trying to find a god that is deliberately elusive - if he exists at all. I've done all the research I care to do.
So yes, I am "free" - free from slavery to unprovable ideas, concepts, and fantasies.
"Serious scholars"? I take that to mean someone must be in agreement with the watchtower in order for the adjective "serious" to apply. I haven't found any non jw who had any respect for the NWT. It is widely known as a biased translation, deliberately slanted to support doctrines unique to jehovahs witnesses. The NWT is a dangerous book, I'll admit. dangerous to those who read it. I have also never seen any non jw evidence to support 607 BC.
Not that it matters. Even if the jws were proven correct in every respect, I would never go back to them. Twenty years among them taught me all I care to know. The people I knew among them ranged from the most petty to the most abusive. Never could a world filled with jws be called a "paradise". I'd rather be hauled into the street by a mob, butchered, burned, and pissed on than live in such a "paradise" populated by such people. At least then the torment wouldn't be eternal.

Where did you go?
I ran from the lies.
Where else do we go? What else is there? Do JW's have nothing else than this. Debate for hours and when you have them cornered it's "What else is there?" The thousands of people leaving the WTS every year have found something better.
Honestly examining beliefs can be uncomfortable. Maybe there is nothing else. Just because something is scary does not make it untrue. Fear is not a good reason to believe.
I have found something better. I don't feel the need to proselytise because everyone must find their own way in life.
If your estimation of the WT is that it is the best of a bad bunch then that is sad. Let the WT fall or stand on its own merits, not in comparison to anythings else.
Renaii is just here to incite us. And well she should. That is her "job." We're falling for it. People get so incensed about it, and then we're doing exactly what they want us to do. We are getting upset about it. Really. It's people's choice if they want to be JW's or not. we can't control that. People have a choice. Just let people do what they want to do. Life is WAY TOO SHORT to be worying about other people's beliefs. Just do what you want to do, and make YOURSELF happy, and do what you do so you and let people do what they want to do. Just realize that you can't control the world... Just realize that you can only control how you feel.
