Read my prior posts. Healthcare alone does not explain life expectancy. It is a poor proxy for healthcare delivery. There are other factors such as lifestyle choices. Europeans walk more and eat healthier. By many measures, our healthcare delivery is better than yours. Get cancer, or have a heart attack. Your odds of surviving are a good deal better here. I've posted references for this I am tired of having to do it again and again when it is obvious that everyone glosses over whatever does not confirm their bias.

What did I say Burnsie? Did I say tort reform shouldn't be done? No, I said it "was not critical". Your rebuttal was unecessary, and just more blathering from you rather than actual debate.

At this point in the healthcare reform debate, "tort reform" is thrown in either as a distraction, or because someone is ignorant of the facts regarding tort reform; in your case, definitely the former.

I think you have a valid point about drug testing for assistance. I have posted about this before.

I have learned it's far too difficult to try to reason with people like you, you have your thinking and I have mine. I appreciate all that you contribute to the

country. It takes what you do to keep things going along with millions of other people.

The only thing I've gotten out of this thread to some folks like verbal boxing...the topic really doesn't matter, everyone's already made their minds up and aren't on this thread to get an understanding of the other side (has anyone presented an option to Obama's plan? maybe I missed it) or even to agree to disagree.

Interesting to watch but really not my cup of tea
