Let's be honest, that being the case, while being 'good' people, in the aspect of what you do in your lives and how you treat others, there would be little reason to abstain from fornication, etc, premarital sex, etc. It's natural to want to do that, most of us abstain because of respect for Jehovah and how it's only for while in marriage. Many of us have no desire to steal, murder, etc, but that's one thing hard to control ourselves on.

In other words, you are "moral" because of your love for Jehovah. Without your love for Jehovah you would have no reason to live a "moral" life.

Translated: You have no morals, integrity, decency, or ethics of your own. Without your "Jehovah" to lead you by the nose you would likely become a drunken, drug crazed, fornicating, thieving murderer, because inside you are nothing.

So instead of trying to improve yourself you come here to judge others in your pathetic attempt to distract yourself from your own deficencies.

    You make pathetic look attractive.

Sigh. Here we go again. Do we REALLY have to have pages and pages of answers to someone who is clearly a: deliberately here to bait us, b: slightly unhinged and thinks he/she has a link to the divine? Not worth your time and energy everyone...he/she is CLEARLY not even remotely here for real discussion but rather to condemn and spew ridiculousness. No Attention = Troll Death.

"What is this EOM?? Do you not see that your sweeping assessment of all EXJWs is the same crap the JWs do to the rest of humanity? Sweeping all nonJWs into a pile as being Under Satan? As Haters of God? And in doing so diverting attention away from the BILE that exists inside this "Christian" organization? "

While you have judged me on assumptions I will just state facts about your 100 or so lines of comments.

    Nice and simple:

You have come to your understanding of the bible no different than anyone else who has read it hundreds of years before you. Not really that special is it.

How can an imperfect mind find perfection in what you would call perfect writings?

DubR - even though I 'go' to the meetings, I don't believe everything which is taught. So you may consider me an ex-jw as well. I am well aware of the double lives those who go to every meeting or service. That's why if you read my first post, what I said to JW's. Many think that just doing the 6 hours a week then they can do whatever they want after that. They are in for a big surprise when they find out that not only is the teachings not the truth, but that now they are guilty of judging.

I been praying and repenting for my part in some of those things over the years.

I can't tell if you believe in the bible or not. First post looks like your saying it's a bogus book, then last post looks like your saying you follow it. Anyway, I have nothing more to say. My purpose is not to debate or prove anything, just encouraging ones who been misled and stumbled that it is the path and it does have the answers.

EndofMysteries: I can only speak for myself. I DID NOT LEAVE THE ORGANIZATION SO THAT I COULD DO "BIG BAD IMMORAL THINGS". You are an idiot if you think that is why people leave.

I believe in God, in Jesus and in the Holy Spirit. I just believe they are more loving and forgiving than the witnesses believe. If you really have questions as to why people leave-read "Crisis of Conscience" by Raymond Franz, a former "anointed" member of the Governing Body. It is a real eye opener.

    LC steps into the room

Peers, wide eyed, from side to side

With a frown on his face and terror in his eyes

He begins to slowly, slowly back out of the room............................

"Nothing to see here" he shouts

"Nothing to see here at all"..............................

OEM. You are plain and simply on the WRONG FORUM. I suggest you find one of the all JW beige cardigan forums so you can gush about it, Goody for you that you worship 'Jehovah'

I for one did not leave because i saw anything wrong with the religion. Boil it all down and i just did not want to be a christian. Now as i have had 10 years to reflect, i will never worship the God of the bible.

Actions speak far louder than words.

The words of god? oh i love you all sooooo much.

The actions of the god of the bible? Killings on a scale that make the Nazi's look like boy scouts. Mass ethnic cleansings. In fact, almost all of his actions through history are a record of temper tantrums resulting in death on a grand scale. As for his 'Armageddon' another excuse for the bullyboy to wipe out billions of people. I dont give a rats ass that its to save the few righteous in his eyes. I for one would not want to live in that new world for sure.

The god of the christian greek scriptures is the same god of the hebrew scriptures, just with a new front man.

If i acted the way god did/will with my children i would no doubt be locked up or fried.

nuff said, go find another place to spout your non-sense
