most if us don't view that gray area that much when something worng is being done to us by another.

    Oh, no!!!

We set up such a howl and hue and cry when the boot is on the other foot.

All some have to do is think that someone is treading upon them.

Just look at the current political scene in the USA as an example.

I edited out the now part.
    It was too watchtowerish.
Like that made it all better...

It is my faith, how I feel, what I feel.

    Take it or leave it.

When collective negative actions accumulate to a critical point and a critical mass has been reached, guess what happens? Chaos! Destruction.

The warning signs are always present, though not always heeded or taken seriously. People go on about their business living their lives sometimes blindly. Even the seemingly innocent are then subject to destruction.

Its a fine line indeed, you can't be so focused on the "end" that you forget today and you can't bo so oblivious to what is happening around you that you can't see the the signs of things that MUST change.

    Take it or leave it.

Or point out the flaws in the internal consistency :)

Look. Sab, Jesus could return at any time. It's been just under 2000 years since he said he would and the world is in better shape than ever. If you try to figure out if it will come with warning or without, you just end up ij a debate with people about which parts of the bible they choose to ignore while espousing other parts.

Just be a good person, live a good life, take care of that son and don't worry about it.

Yes, it is a fine line, fraught with tension.

What's amazing is that each individual can have a different perspective on what this or that means, yet remain watchful and faithful.

    No cookie-cutter, lock-step uniformity needed.

I am simply in awe of our Lord and His ways of doing things!

That's the ultimate punchline, but the path to that realization is long and arduous.

Indeed, just like the apostles and disciples of Jesus, they had their differences of opinions and even interpretations of things, but their cornerstone of faith, Hope and Love ( Jesus) was the same and that is the crucial key.

People wonder or point out when christians have different views aboiut details or interpretations, as if that was anyhting NEW and they fail to realise that there is nothing wrong with that at all.

Our love of Christ and Christ in US is what matters, the rest is a work in progress ;)

And there is no "end", no "Armageddon", battle between God and anyone or the righteous and unrighteous. When that was written, the Jews were opressed by the Romans and seeking a savior figure during the century+ long revolt against the Roman empire.

It was the point behind most of Jesus teachinngs and sayings.
