    Hi poppers

This is board is your training ground for knowing Jehovah's witnesses alone? Then I would say you still no nothing about witnesses.

My reply: Why? because of the varied experience here of people...from those who have studies right up to former circuit overseers who have first-hand knowledge of the inner-workings of the org? We also know enough about the org to know that if you were a real and believing JW you would not be here, as the org is against its members coming here. LOL

Especially if you would rather agree with a few posters on here than governments and human-right courts that are honour-bound to look into us deeply and simply say we are not a cult.

My reply: That point has already been addressed, you may want to go back and re-read.

    Hi bohm

Is it? I don't know! ask the same governments that recognise witnesses as a religion?

Witnesses and scientologist have absolutely no shared beliefs whatsoever and so cannot be used as comparative examples. Scientologist are not even a Christian faith despite the fact they have a cross idol as their insignia.

You might as well ask if catholism is a cult or baptists or hindu's or any religion or strong faith systems.

but we are talking about witnesses and the governments that recognise catholics and hindu's and baptists and church of England as religions also recognise witnesses as a religion.

We are a 7 million strong religion that is known wide-wide with multi court actions in our pursuit of preaching Jehovah's Good news. We are very well-known and you are resorting to statements that are simply not true.

My reply: The name Jehovah's Witnesses is well-known. The inner workings of the org are not. Outsiders do not have more than a very scant knowledge of JWs. Your statements are totally inaccurate.

Hmmm! JW's NOT a cult ....Let me think about this?

    They are secretive.

They lie to cover over their most radical beliefs.

They shun ex-members and stop current from reading material that will expose them.

They split families up by engendering loyalty to......God? NO the faithful and discreet slave - WTF the FDS is, no one really knows, because it sure isn't all the annointed on earth.

They teach false doctrine that changes at a whim. But you have to believe it or be shunned.

They have been responsible for thr deaths's of children, and then plaster their faces all over a magazine cover.

Those deaths are just a prelude to the highly anticipated genocide of anyone who does not follow the teachings of this "Faithful and Discreet Slave".

Debator - you're right, they are not a cult. They are just a sickening bunch of despotic old men - fuckwits who should lined up and shot.

The Society revised their stance on Disciplining members over taking blood due to pressure from the European Court on Human Rights.

You cannot put Church Censorship between a Parent and Medical decisions for their children was the outcome.

debator - Yes, i think scientology is a cult. Now what do you think?

Heres the thing. To answer the question if something is a cult, you got to have a definition. I ask you if you think scientology is a cult because your answer will tell me something about what kind of organization you consider a cult.

So how about it, simple yes/no question and i think its fair you answer it now you have asked it of me: Is scientology a cult?

Designs, it is the same result though if one takes a transfusion though. Auto-da is a distinction without a difference from Df.

Jookbeard, letting them dangle from a particularly sensitive spot would be appropriate for the GB members.

    Hi cantleave

Despite your resorting to obsene language (do you think that helps your case?) your list is still only indicative of your biased opinion and negative spin and not your own governments that thankfully are more objective.

In your case and jookbeard's hate truly is the other side of the coin of the religion you once loved.
