Still, it isn't going to change the outcome. God will do what he has to do,.... no one can change that. You either agree or you don't, simple.
Do you agree that that position sounds like a dictator?

Even so, he's seen more throughout time about human nature than I will ever know in my entire lifetime.
So if you watch people raising kids for a long time you are ready to raise kids?

The Great Day of the Lord Almighty's wrath comes to mind.
Yes, but are you sure you understand what that is?
I think you have a good grasp, Sab, because you think enough to wonder about why something had to be done. Its not an automatic... all evil, or all good... with you. I'm just not sure that the people teaching us what that is, have any idea what they're talking about most of the time.
(I can't continue, sorry... gotta go to work. Have fun.)

I know it involves execution of which is a human concept. Sometimes our hands are truly forced to take a life. God doesn't have this burdensome limitation.

Fine line between Good and Evil, there really is. Therefore it will never be cut and dry no matter how many people want to think it is.

All I'm saying Sab is, He's the boss, He holds all the chips. He's bigger than me, He's smarter than me and He's definately older (wiser) than me. I am compelled to recognize that our relationship has it's limits from those standpoints alone. Frienshipwise (if there is such a word) there are no limits. In order for that friendship to work, I must agree to it's conditions.
Either I agree or I don't. I don't know how it get's any simpler to understand.

It's actually too simple and naturally the more finer points will be missed.
You don't seem to have a problem acknowledging total inferiority. This is the fundamental point of which we differ. When I read the Bible and other people's depiction of God I see flaws. I have flaws, therefore God is not much different than me. As I stated in an eariler post I don't see a need for execution of anyone when given the powers that God allegedly has.
God is blatantly human as depicted in sacred texts. He has our limitations and our flaws. A good example is to read about his temperment. Wrath is not a trait that would be found in such a superiour entity. He would not be "slow to anger" he would transcend anger. All of God's traits in the Bible can be viewed simply by communing with your peers or simply looking in the mirror. Amazing people exist and are ignored because they carry the "human" tag.
Well I wear my tag with pride. Because I know I am made of the same stuff that made the greatest humans to have ever lived, and they didn't do too shabby.

I'm not talking about Armegddon exactly just a mass execution ordered by God himself. You would immediately call down evil upon him and ask for death? Really? I would first survey the scene and figure out who he killed and why. Hell I'd ask him who he killed and why and importantly why he spared me.
If the God of the Bible existed and did all that, then I would say it's his mess. He created the unfair test on the naive humans. He set the terrible example for the angels to follow, what with his petty jealousy and all. He punished all of mankind for the actions of two with neverending birth pains and sickness and death. This far past the flood, I wouldn't need to ask him who and why. It's been so clear that life isn't fair and he's a real SOB. He doesn't make himself clear on how to live and what to believe, he gives us all the evidence that life started from non-life and evolved, he allowed so much disagreement even among those that wanted to worship him. He tortured children all along the way with diseases and disasters.
Screw bending my knee to him or even asking a question. "Strike me now, MF."
If you view this video, imagine Hera is YHWH and they speak of Satan instead of Zeus. That's what it would be like:
See this is where I just can't agree. Again while reading history all I see is progress. Sure it's up and down all the time but eventually we learn our lesson and are better for it. The unfortunate fact is that sometimes we don't learn our lesson before our time is up and we end up harming many in our life. For every person that tears down there are two to build back up that's what I see when I look at our history compared to now.

Just to add to your comment Sab, God actually didn't want us to progress, at least not according to the story of Babel. Although I doubt they could have constructed any tower taller than the skyscrapers we have today. Why doesn't God frustrate humans' plans today? In fact, I see no reason why God saw fit to frustrate man's plans to begin with. To me, that smells anti-freewill.
It's either God's way, or the highway.
@OWT - As I've said.... flip a coin, you got a 50/50 chance of survival. He's in control whether you like it or not.... He's smarter and more powerful than you, He holds the key of life and there's not a thing you can do about it.
Deep down inside, you know that He is the True God. You also know that your time is limited. Go ahead, piss him off. Just remember, you're nothing but a speck of dust.....
