Shall we call this selective vision? We have provided links with information for you.

If you are sincerely interested in understanding the evidence for evolution why not go and do some of the work yourself?...Why not order these from your local library and commit a year or two to studying them.

So no one can put into their own words the reason for why they believe evolution to be factual? I'm not interested in going to a link or reading any books becuase I won't be able to question the material. I'd perfer to hear the evidence for evolution from a source I can interact with.

'I'd perfer to hear the evidence for evolution from a source I can interact with.'

Then, why don't you start a thread asking for it? This one is based on sly inuendo, anyway.

haha I dont know if I hate this threads.... or I love them... but I laugh a lot. :-)

Cyber: Gotta agree with that. Frustrating there's so many clueless ones....but just damn entertaining at the same time. Schadenfreude, perhaps?

Good grief - you don't want to read a book or anything that anyone posts and respond intelligently...I asked you to google what scientific theory means and you can't even do that. How lazy are you anyway? Have you even really sat down and thought about it? I mean really thought about anything objectively without your preconceived notions? You're really giving people of faith a bad name here bud.

Or how about you just type the definition of scientific theory right here on this forum. I find it ironic that you're calling me lazy when you wouldn't even bother to briefly type your idea of what scientific theory means. I'm amazed that no one can articulate why they believe in the evolution theory with Google, Wikipedia, or any other internet source.

ummm dude, learning something on your own instead of being spoon fed is much more satisfying. I'm trying to help you here but that's ok. You've already proved that even if someone posts what you're asking for you can't be bothered to read it here...on your own thread. Sigh...

'I've now learned that the vast majority of people who are Atheist or promote the evolution theory are people who had bad experiences with religion.'

PP . . . you've had a lot of good advice here . . . even some good examples to point you in the right direction . . . and yet by choice your still sitting in the "dunces" chair.

Why don't you be honest . . . you want people here to "justify" what they believe or do you want to learn something?

    I suspect the former . . . what you don't seem to realise is . . . we don't have to . . . you want to remain ignorant that's your problem.

The reason I accept the theory of the evolution is because it explains the diversity of life in a manner which is supported by physical evidence, has made predictions about life that have bene varified as being true (i.e. genes, human chromosome 2, etc.), and is not contradicted by any evidence.

Now, following Philadelphia Ponos's "fine Christian" example, I will generalize, engage in faulty conclusions, and insult a large number of people by stating my opinions and faulty conclusions as fact (in other words, I will now be a bigot and a troll):

Nowhere in the bible does god condem pedophilia. Not in his 'Top 10 Commandments' nor in the endless list of things "god hates". Because there is no evidence whatsoever that God hates pedophilia while numerous other sexual behaviors are implicitly identified as 'sins', one cannot conclusively say that pedophilia is a sin against God. As God seems at the very least tolerant of pedophilia, so too must those who spread the biblical message and values.

Like Philadelphia understanding Atheists... I too am beginning to understand Christianity and Philadelphia Ponos.

PS: I do not honestly believe that real Christians condone pedophilia. I am merely making the point that trolling is trivial to do, and that Philadelphia Ponos (heh... there some near-anagram amuzement to be had there... just need an 'r' and another 'o'.) was not being educated, fair, honest, or respectable in their original post.
