I'm just saying it seems rather silly to me that somehow this grand conspiracy is playing out on the net among people with few resources (oddly enough Obama haters, huh, go figure) yet those with power and a vested interest, are somehow clueless.

I like what Obama has done, under such hard conditions as he was left with by 8 years of Republican waste and theft. Unless he successfully fights these charges against him, he will be not prevail in the next election. I am just a messenger of the events that are unfolding- please try to understand the charges against Obama. I am open and eager to find any flaw in this mess. My friend says- Obama worked for cash in 1975 at Baskin Robbins- he never had no BC before that 042 SS # was issued in 1977- fine I accept that- now explain the E-Verify problem- I'm still waiting for him to get back to me.
I do believe the Govt had notice-in August, just before 9/11- of the Muslims taking flight training for large jet planes- for whatever unknown reason it was not acted on by our Govt.

One reason I don't buy in to any of these conspiracy theories, is that this sort of secret, just can't be relied on to be kept by all the players that would be needed to pull it off.
Hillary would never have let this one go. She's tough. My vote in the primary.

I know burden of proofs. The American political system is not what we learn in grade school. If a single U S Senator or Congressperson truly believed this, hearings could be arranged. Congressional committees have subpoena power and lying to one is perjury. Nixon had the Watergate hearings and Clinton had his hearings before his impeachment. No one is holding hearings b/c there is no proof. Congress has the funding to arrange for world experts, not right wing nut jobs, ot investigate the evidence. I still believe this would be a massive battle of the experts. In the meantime, this country would not move on important issues.
John MCCain and Hillary Clinton are political opportunists, the same as Obama. They are not nice, everyday people. Historically, The GOPs fields nastier, more competent campaigns. So where were all these people devoted to the cause of securing the White House? Many of them would have status jobs if their party won.
Americans seem to prefer the center. They elect the centrist candidate over and over again. The current crop -- I doubt any of them would raise the issue directly. Maybe Palin but she can't even read newspapers. Her foreign policy is staring at Russian territory from Alaska.
Obama would have to cooperate with a lawfully convened Congressional committee. It must be very embarassing being in the same party as the birthers. Enough tangible, proven things exist in Obama to challenge him on those issues. Birthers are isolated. Take the show on the road of public opinioni. Convince someone to hold hearings.

The possibility of going to jail for conspiracy is a powerful motive for players to keep their lips zipped. I believe some people have tried to talk, but they have been shouted down. Think about it- if someone told you they saw the Obama's long form birth certiificate being planted in the Hawaii file book, well who would believe them? They are just nut-jobs who are trying to bring down our first black President and the greatest black man who ever gave a speech with a teleprompter.
Way back in the spring of 2008 there were reports from Hawaii Democratic party people that there was no Obama birth certificate and no BC could be found in vital records- Did anyone want to to listen to news that would rain on their parade? Did the news media want to do an investigation?

Here is a copy of SS numbers listed in the SS death index- starting with 4377. The SS number in question that was used by Obama on his draft registration ended in 4425.
I looked at the entire series starting at 001 to 9999 and guess what- I didn't see any issued to Hawaii, or NJ, or Texas- No-siree- every SS number was issued to someone with a Connecticut mailing address.

The prefix does not prove anything but where the person was living when they applied for their SSN.
I would say you are right, Blondie. A Connecticut address for Obama, who was living and going to high school in Hawaii at the time, does not make sense, does it? Maybe someone else sees something I am missing.
