If Republicans are so sure they can win the vote, why do they keep passing laws making it hard for Democrats to vote?

When they come around knocking before elections I serve democrats to my dogs for dinner.

You do realize that they are taking you seriously, right?

Yeah, BTS, and my newly turned 18 year olds got approached by voter registrars at the Walmart and when they told them they wanted to register as Democrats, they were criticized and intimidated and got registered as Republicans anyway. They didn't find out until they went to vote at the primaries and couldn't vote for their Democratic choices! So touche'!

And yeah, a Democrat should introduce legislation making it FREE and EASY. And some people do not have internet or computers or transportation to get to a DMV or library or cannot even leave their homes. So someone should go to THEM. If we are really interested in listening to ALL voters then we should all agree.

LOL! I take it you live in a heavy Democrat area? About as hard to reason with at the door as a JW. Just don't go Danny Haszard.

I hope they never vote. I think useless people that dont pay taxes shouldnt be allowed to vote. If they contribute NOTHING, why should they have any say? They will only vote to take something for themselves from someone that contributes.

Ahhhh! And finally someone speaks the TRUTH ... Thus, it's not about voter fraud. And it is about supressing those voters whom you oppine should not be allowed to vote. Thank you!!!

Of course not neckbeard. Including the old guy that fought in WWII, whose license has expired because he hasn't driven in 10 years, and he collects SS. Really, who wants a deadbeat like that to ever vote?

The world is so simple from a conservative point of view. Black or White. No shades or understanding. No concerns. Bumper sticker politics. The problem with liberals is it takes us too long to explain our points. We tend to look at the complexity of a problem. By the time we've reached the second sentence, we've lost conservatives.

That is a non argument though. That same person has to get an ID card or driver's license to receive some of the veteran's benefits my state provides (and the ID is free of charge for vets). You can't get a disabled parking permit without one, even if you aren't the driver. You still need a photo ID.

How do they establish who he/she is? You don't need a license to vote here, all you need is a state photo ID card. I can't speak to arrangements in other states however, but you guys have no argument whatsoever in Florida.

Having a photo ID raises the quality of life and opens doors for a person. Without it you can't even get a legal job or open a bank account or get a debit or credit card. Why are you people so dead set against it? My guess is partisan brainwash.

BTS, read what Neckbeard said above. That's what mirrors the truth behind these laws.

I'm not "dead set against it". And saying I am is a lie.
