BTS - I only criticise theism because I understand it very well. Believers think it ok to criticise science based on something they thought they read once upon a time on the internet.

I challenge that their assertion that God IS NOT real is really just an opinion that he may not be real.
Of course it is an opinion. As I have said many times, based on evidence, lack of evidence, contradictions among many things, I do not beleive in God. On the other hand, he could reveal himself in five minutes for all I know. If new evidence arises, I will re-evaluate it about God just like I would anything else.
However, the opinion I share (I can't speak for others) is not that he MAY not be real, but that he IS NOT real. Again, subject to new evidence.

Not quite true, young padawan. You choose to believe in God. Good for you. I hope that works out for you.
However, when you stray into science and start making assertions about the universe and god that are unfounded, wrong and logically and internally inconsistent, then you start seeing the meat grinder of science and logic go to work. You have to use logic and fact to support your ideas that stray into the realm of science and fact.
Make no mistake, you are 100% free to believe all you want. No one will stop you. I, in fact, will 100% support you. You are entitled to your own opinions and beliefs, but not your own facts and scientific method.
What gives people motivation to be so rude?
It's not rude. It's defending your ideas. It's how they get better if you choose to learn from the questions.
The atheists have always claimed that my experiments are in vain because I don't have what it takes to complete them.
They are not in vain if you learn something.

Belief in not a requirement for things to operate at a high-level, I would say that our bodies function at a higher intelligence then our minds,(none of it requiring belief)
