I thought I was clear that I thought it was sad that people needed an imaginary god to show them how to be loving.
I see.
And how do you know they have an imaginary god showing them to be loving (that makes no sense to me, but...)?
Your position (I think) is that you have no evidence of God.
This is a far cry from being able to state there there is no God. If another person has evidence, then the most you can continue to state with any accuracy is that their evidence means nothing to you, and proves nothing to you. But you cannot make an accurate (factual) statement that their God is imaginary.
Now this is judgemental...who is lying? And how are they sick because of these so called lies?
Some people stop believing in God altogether, because of the lies they believed about him. They reject the lie... but might not have rejected the truth, had they known Him.
Peace,
