And what desire would that be?

Read what you wrote that I quoted and there lies the answer.

His teachings and deeds said this.

Much like Sabby claiming and repeating over and over and over that the Torah talks about genetics doesn't make it true, repeating that Jesus teaching said something they never said doesn't make it true either.

    TAM said:

He said turn the other cheek. He said forgive. He said show mercy.

And what did HIS parable indicate? The owner forgiving of the slave who sinned? The master or other slaves turning the other cheek of the sinner?

    NO.

Can you not see that Jesus parable sharply contradicts with the wisdom he dispenses?

Which speak louder: actions, or words?

If you read Aesops fables, you'll read an aphorism that concludes with "he who leaps is lost". Another concludes with "look before you leap".

BOTH are contradictory, and BOTH allow someone to use whichever seems most applicable, when they wish to use either.

    Jesus is exactly the same....

No it does not. What do you think my desire is?

That i believe because i want to believe? Or something else? I am curious what you think that you would say this.

Much like Sabby claiming and repeating over and over and over that the Torah talks about genetics doesn't make it true, repeating that Jesus teaching said something they never said doesn't make it true either.

That you don't see it does not make it untrue either.

Tec: Have you ever asked yourself why Jesus never condemned slavery ? Jesus had a lot of opinions and was very loud at times about these.

If we examine the terminology used to describe the faithful of many of the worlds major religions we can see a common theme. Could it be that these are related ?

What do you think my desire is?

That you are telling yourself what you want to hear in Jesus words.

That you don't see it does not make it untrue either.

I'll ask you the same thing I asked Sabby about the genetics in the Torah. Without interpreting it to mean what you want it to mean, show me where Jesus said not to own people. If you can't, it isn't there.

Love is at odds with enslaving your fellow human being. Christ taught love. The people who do not understand, are the ones who do not yet know love.

So it's not there. Gotcha. Slaves .... OK by Jesus!

Okay, so you're just generalizing. You don't have something specific?

The same generalization could be made of anyone, including you.

I'll ask you the same thing I asked Sabby about the genetics in the Torah. Without interpreting it to mean what you want it to mean, show me where Jesus said not to own people. If you can't, it isn't there.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

What some here fail to understand is that if a person understood love (had love and light within them)... then all else would follow. More than just enslavement would come to an end if one acted with love. Once again, Christ dealt with the root.

Saying that Christ condoned enslaving one's fellow man is extrapolation (and reading into the text what you want)... and it goes against the golden rule, love, and his teaching that we should SERVE one another. Become the least.

This is a far cry from being able to state there there is no God. If another person has evidence, then the most you can continue to state with any accuracy is that their evidence means nothing to you, and proves nothing to you. But you cannot make an accurate (factual) statement that their God is imaginary.

    LOLOLOLOLOLOL....evidence?...........LOLOLOLOL

Now this is judgemental...who is lying? And how are they sick because of these so called lies?...still thinking

Some people stop believing in God altogether, because of the lies they believed about him. They reject the lie... but might not have

rejected the truth, had they known Him...tec

LOLOLOLOLOLOL....lies ABOUT him? He is not real.

you haven't clarified how they are sick.
