Why do people pretend good things about Jesus ?

And you might forgive people even if you don't believe in him.

    I have never stated otherwise.

So, how do you explain the ones who do 'belong to him' that don't have their prayers answered? Not praying hard enough? Not good enough? Not listening hard enough? Not special enough? When they cry out for help and he ignores their pleas...didn't cry loud

    enough?

How can i know who belongs to Him or not? That has to be between the person and their Lord. Not everyone who thinks they belong to Him does, though. Some who belong to Him trust in His will, over their own. Even Christ trusted in God over what He, himself, hoped could happen.

From my experience, though, He always answers. On His timeline though. The promise is not ask and you will recieve 'right this very moment'. If you leave Him because you wanted it 'right now'... then you didn't really uphold your end of the 'remain in me' promise.

We are also not promised this life to be free of suffering... just the opposite.

    Peace,

You attribute peoples loving actions to him.

Yeah... those who do it because they listened to Him (in spirit, or even from his teachings in writing)

I'm not speaking about anyone else.

People love and help for all sorts of reasons, many just because they care....loving and helping to please an imaginary god seems pathetic to me. But hey, whatever it takes to get you to love and help is ok with me. If you need an excuse...so be it.

Well, I am sorry to have to point it out, but there is an IF attached to that promise.

Is it okay with you that some people help because He taught them to love?

It doesn't sound like you think that... but if you say it is true, then great.

No... it is the fault of mankind around him.

People believe he taught them...I don't believe this. Just because they want it to be true...does not make it so. But if people need this delusion to inspire them to be loving and help....go for it. Sad...but I guess some people don't know how to be loving without an imaginary god guiding them.

And those who put their faith in Him do receive answers to their prayers, and ARE granted strength and comfort if they are suffering.
