Jehovah, Jesus, Satan, and the magic snake all have one thing in common: they're not real.

It doesn't really matter how often any of them is mentioned in The Watchtower. And there's definitely no point lying about it.

I looked on my 2012 WT Library cd-rom.

In the Watchtower mag., from 1950 to 2012:

    "Jesus" occurred 139,063 times.

    "Jehovah" occurred 270,003 times.

By these numbers, "Jehovah" is mentioned nearly twice as much as "Jesus" in the Watchtower for the years listed above.

In the most recent three years (2010-2012), "Jesus" occurred 4,504 times; "Jehovah" occurred 7,783 times.

As Jeffro mentioned, either the OP is incompetent or dishonest.

The WT looks bad all by itself simply by using its own literature to highlight errors. Apparent lying (I'm not accusing, just making an observation) is not only unnecessary but worse, it makes it difficult to help those doing an honest search about the WTBTS. Additionally, it adds fuel to the "mentally diseased" assertions WT makes about "apostates", if it appears that apostates must lie to get their point across.

The kind of info. posted by the OP does no one any favors.

I would like to add one further comment:

When I started fading and doing my own research about the WT, JWN was one of the first "apostate"/ex-JW sites I found. What impressed me here is that when someone posted inaccurate, or blatantly false, information about WT, as much as ex-JWs loathe the WT, they also were unwilling to support false information just to make WT look bad.

(JWFacts also impressed me, in that Paul invited anyone to correct him if any information he posted on his website was in error. That kind of candor and desire to be honest was such a contrast to WT).

When something was wrong, JWN members immediately called out the person posting the lie. I guess this is probably because ex-JWs are so sick of being lied to their entire lives by WT they refuse to act the same way in retribution.

Had I come here for the first time and saw a topic like this one (if no rebuttals were posted), then checked my WT Library to see if it was accurate or not, I would've concluded that "apostates" really are a bunch of liars and the WT is right about them. I would not have looked at another anti-WT website again.

There's no reason for anyone to post false information here about the WT. You can be 100% honest and WT will still look just as bad.

Jehovans...I like that. Sounds better than Jay-Dubs.

BTW, how did the Society come up with the idea that Michael and Jesus were the same? And does Jesus really have wings? How much of that is artistic lisence and how much actual doctrine?

If angels have wings, then Jesus should have wings. Right?

Probably by the same method Joseph Smith used to read golden plates with magic spectacles.

It's best not to throw stones when you also live in a doctrinal glass house, CS.

I wrote awhile back how all my JW friends became so nervous when I started to use the name Jesus Christ more than I used the name Jehovah. This threw up their apostate radar, the name of Jesus Christ and speaking of brotherly love and grace scared the JWs. What does this tell you? They are really anti-Christ and the Gospel of Jesus Christ contradicts the Gospel of the Governing Body's "Saved by Works and Placing Magazines".

D.C.S. I was wondering what effects the Church of the Latter Day Saints had on Russell and Rutherford.

The talk of Jehovah living in the Pleides Constalation is so close to the thoughts Joseph Smith made about Elohim (God) living on the planet Kolob.

There seems to be intertwining doctrines from different Cults merging in with each religion. The Arch-angel is their attempt at logical deduction used in 2 Thess? How can they think they made this conclusion on a solid basis? What makes them think they are the 144,000? For all we know this could be part of the nation of Isreal, Jehovah has the right to do what he desires to do. The WTS has twisted the most basic doctrines and turned everything upside down.

They claim to have original doctrines but as King Solomon said, "There is nothing new under the Sun". JWs claim to be neutral, they fought in WW1 while the Mennonites were not fighting in the War. The more I read, the more I am learning the WTS is not very original in their doctrines but they lie and claim they are new and refreshing ideas but they don't tell their people they borrowed their ideas from older preachers of the 1600s-1800s!
