Then there is the option of throwing it back into their hands and getting their opinion.

Get two elders together, have them read a scripture or two, then ask them: "After prayerful consideration of this matter, I humbly beg for your direction on whether I should be DF'd or DA."

I'm not sure how much they will go into specifics but when you leave, thank them for their help, and just say that you will again pray on the matter.

Just ignore them when they request you to appear a judicial committee. They will disfelowship you in absentia thats what happened in my case.

If you have the control over your facial expressions you can go and have some fun with it. The one thing the elders seem to hate is comedy. Given the right kind of creativity you could turn the whole thing into a joke. I have a cousin who stayed in he's a natural born comedian no one takes him seriously. I still have fond memories of his antics even after all these years outside the organization. Beleive me they don't like to be laughed at!

A circuit overseer once told me to agree with everything the elders said. Agree that you did the wrong and you are working on the problem. Be as repentent in your actions and wording as possible. Then they will not df you. You will not be cast off by the cong. Then just stop attending the meetings and field service. You can live your life just as any non-witness and still have limited jw friends.
