I remember jgnat suggesting this over the years. :)
he told me how she feels like if I am not a MS, she will just "be another body" sitting there with nothing to do and no spiritual goals.
That is...just...so...sad.
IMO you should jump on this. Spend more couples time with her, be romantic, do fun stuff. Perhaps if she feels without goals, then you could find something you could work on together? Make her feel like things are better now that you have less responsibility.

Thanks for posting this. What more powerful testimony can there be that Jehovah's Witnesses simply do not allow someone to quit their faith? The fact, that such a thing as "fading" is even suggested and actively engaged, should give any serious Witness pause. Whenever I hear of these sort of things, I'm reminded of Moses before Pharoah, asking him, "let my people go" and him responding, "no, I will not have the people stop slaving for me."

BU2B- Good for you. I'm especially happy that your JW wife is supporting your decision. If this was me years ago my jW ex-wife would have been very pissed off at not being a " trophy MS/elders wife " . So count yourself lucky that your wife is supporting you - so far. Just keep your eyes open, and enjoy your fade. I'm proud of you man. Hang in there guy. Peace out, mr. Flipper
