This evening, 30-40 Muslims out of a crowd of 100-120 were shouting “Praise Allah!” while surrounding the police following Press Conference on the beheading. Now the question is were they saying this in solidarity of the victims and their families over this tragedy, or were they praising Allah that his will was carried out on this poor girl?
I have a gut feeling that the gb in all their self appointed glory believed the planes that hit the towers were meant for them.
In Australia recently massive police actions have seen raids on many locations with a lot of people taken in for questioning after some Australian born convertee now in isis asked for random kidnapping of Australians off Australian streets and then behead them.
Then this week in the state of Victoria an 18 yo immigrant approached two Police or was approached by two Police and pulled a knife stabbed both and was shot, killed.
The media of course have gone into a feeding frenzy not seen since the Port Arthur killings in 1996. In Sydney Australias biggest city some Muslim woman have had their head dress* ripped off and copped abuse. All this was predictable but the bloody polaticians and their paramors the tertiary bred social engineers and the "Greens party" (think watermelons--green outside red inside)who have caused all this are sitting back saying F*** all.
So many immigrants legal or otherwise were brought in too many too fast with NO plan to employ them or requirement to work and some on some sort of 'conditional' release into the community are actually forbidden to work (WTH?) so forcing them into despair among the arms of the radicals for support. Were some brave group/individual able to force accountability on polaticians laws in Australia then this whole matter would come to a screaming stop and may be a terrible future coming for Australian society could be avoided.
*I understand that it is not a requirement for women to wear that head covering but a tradition I am happy to be corrected.

Many years ago I had a doctor who was Muslim. He left the midldle east during a time in the past when the radicals were in power. He fled the country ( ****) in the middle of the night to be able to raise his family in the usa. He told me straight up that Islam was a violent religion and he'd have nothing to do with the organized religion. He said most educated Muslim people felt the same way ( at that time 70-90's ). He did believe in God, who he called Allah ,but he did not take the Koran literally or seriously . At his funeral /wake the holy man read from some of the great poets. B/c of this I have no problem seeing Islam for what it is, a violent religion that encourges hate and violence.
How could we have all come out of the Borg and not see Islam for what it is? Seriously , beheading folks????
It really is not complicated, the are only 2 positions you can be in . You can be part of Islam (you live , maybe ) or be everyone else-- an infidel ( you die). those are the choices. Like we are either one of jws or a part of the world. that is it. One brings life in paradise, the other death at the big A.

FHN - I'd maybe have sympathy for this happy clappy lack of responsibility approach from this socially repressed woman if the Muslims all got together and 'rode their Harley Davidsons' over to the militants and got in their faces - like many in the US do with Westbro. The mistake made is as always trying to make this about individuals rather than ideology. Individually most people are lovely and all creeds and races and extended families have anti social members potentially willing to do atrocious things. This is not , imo, about knee jerk 'all Muslims are bad' thinking this is a very cool headed and clear evaluation of a threat to western civilisation. ISIS isn't a regional issue, it's the tip of an ice berg. I've worked with two Muslims who got very coy at work when asked if they condemned 9/11 and I talked to two Muslims who outright said they were ready for the coming uprising against the decadent west. There are millions of Muslims who believe that the west is evil and must be violently destroyed and the culture obliterated.

The Westboro Baptists are ignorant loud attention whores that have never even stood up in a real fight, much less cut somebody's head off. Most Christians don't give them a thought most days, because they know the WBC isn't worth the price of the bullets it would take to send them all to hell.
Not true of ISIS, or any number of other extremist Islamic groups. These people are a threat to the values that Western Civilization honors, even if we don't always live up to them.

If there are moderate Muslims somewhere they need to stand up and do something, and they need to make sure they're seen doing it. So far, we haven't seen enough of them.

Simon you not going to win any friends because this has been a tool to wedge people against Xians for some time coming. When I was attending college way back when, we had Islamic teachers blatantly lie about the role of the Jihad and claiming Islamic people lived with others and it was the Western Ideology and Christians that caused the real harm. I asked about the Armenians, Greeks and Serb fighting before the Balkan War erupted, Islam caused some harsh pain during the Ottoman Empire and those feelings of hate last for centuries! Why did my atheist teacher bring in a Islamic Cleric to teach us to hate Xians and promote Islam, I wonder because they don't tolerate atheism.

It's the indisputable fact Islam has treated women with a value of 1/2 of a donkey, Women are treated like shit in the Middle East, it's always nice to see the Islamic females speaking of the merit of a relgion that does not allow them to attend college in Iran, drive in Saudia Arabia and walk near a man without getting 30 lashes. They are attacking the Buddist Monks in Myanmar and Islamic Asia now, how much of a threat to Muslims do Buddist present?
