  I also did not read through the entire thread. I do have an opinion and agree with what I did read of Simon's posts. In europe Sharia Law is followed in some areas, and presses to be recognised by the country's laws.   confusedandalone: I am saying that they are very, very different and should not use the same tainted label to identify themselves. I can't imagine why any decent and resonable person would want to claim to belong to a religion that is based upon and incites such hatred.

  I also believe that you are trying to scare people from expressing any agreement with my arguments by insulting and attacking anyone who does - you have done this several times now.

  Either address the issue and take part in the discussion properly or piss off if you can't do this.

  We don't give poisonous ideologies a free pass because not all the people who subscribe to them actually will carry them out to their fullest extent. Again stop trying to reframe the argument as being against people. It is the ideology that is poisonous and increasingly opposed to the direction of Western civilisation.

  The ideology of which you speak (that of members of ISIS/murdering terrorist) is NOT SHARED BY THE MAJORITY OF MUSLIM PEOPLE in the world. so if you are against that ideology, stick to THAT ideology and those who actually have that ideology, not the vast majority of milions and millions of Muslim PEOPLE who do not share the ideology of ISIS and terrorists.

  This is where Islam apologists are just completely wrong. First off all, there is no authority of intrepretation in Islam, and If this is how it really worked, we would't keep seeing case, after case, like this, would we? Why is it that so many Muslims are just unable to interpret the Qur'an in the way it's supposed to be interpreted as you assert? The facts do not match your assertion.

  How many more skyscrapers have to be toppled?

  How many more marathons have to be bombed?

  How many more women will have to have their heads chopped off?

  How much innocent blood is required to be shed before you will acknowledge that there really is an inherent problem with Islam? People that believe in this nonsense need to do something to stem the tide of the radicals that their deeply flawed idealogy keeps producing, and soon!

  The bottom line is that Islam is in desperate need of a Council of Nicea.
