I missed the thread on Rolf Harris. That makes me really sad, I can hear "Tie me Kangaroo Down Sport" in my head. :(

I'd heard word around the entertainment city he's a jerk. Locals witnessed toxic behavior at a gym where he frequented yrs. ago. Doesn't prove he was a rapist but an eye opener. I was never a fan.

Well, there ya go! Anecdotal 'evidence' (in tune with JWN's legalistic tone), but that says it all.

DJS - whatever, you are speaking your mind, and it makes sense. Let the naysayers spout their drivel about their beloved idol, but what you say, is an honest opinion, not coloured by race or any other agenda. I agree.

After all is said, this is a sordid incident, and I'm glad that yet another RAPIST is revealed. I was 'roofied' in Vegas in 1980, and anyone who thinks that all these women are coming forward for 'fame' or 'money' can eat my shorts (as Bart Simpson would say)!

There's been the occasional story coming out of Hollywood that - like the WT - there's an internal problem with the sexual victimization of young people that has - up until now - been largely covered up.

I think I first read about it at Aintitcoolnews...

It's going to be hard to prosecute Cosby after 20-40yrs of silence with no concrete evidence. Why were these women so scared to not talk for so long? Did they tell friends or family? If so, where are they to back them up?

@vidiot speaking of Hollywood. There was allegations this year of a Director who molested young men.

@ShirleyW that's what these cases are looking like. People who are mad about failed careers that seeking revenge for it. As far as sexual predators, they will always be out there.

So your take is that all fifteen women had failed careers, so they just decided to make up lies about being raped? All of them? Really?? Do you even know they all have failed careers? I'm not buying that, it's absurd. Even the JWs would find two witnesses to be sufficient proof, much less fifteen.

This morning there are reports of him saying he won't respond to "innuendo." I don't think that word means what he thinks it means.

So he paid for a lot of that actresses training and other things and all these years later is attacking him. Did he really rape her or was she prostituting herself to get ahead and for all the money he spent and now all these years later she is hoping to collect more?

    EOM,

Seriously? Is that why you bumped this? Since this OP went dormant 5 days ago, a lot more of the sordid details have come out about the Cos. The tally is 19 and counting, and he has a history of paying to cover up his trail according to numerous sources. As one of the tv judges stated, with 19 accusers the statistical likelihood of the Cos NOT being a rapist is zero.

Dr. Huxtable is a serial rapist and monster. That is my professional opinion.
