Should I attend Kingdom Hall meetings to discreetly "preach"?

Go to the beach and enjoy life.

Forget Jehovah and Jesus.......... unless they personally contact you...... but i doubt if they will.

"The implication is that the entire bible is bogus, not just the JWs interpretation of it. What's also bogus is anyone's claims to "know the real Jesus".

Okay. Thanks for chiming in. So in conclusion, all other theists beliefs are just as bogus as the JW's? Care to add your input on this crytojesus? What makes following Jesus better than anything the JWs have? Again, I'm in the middle when it comes to Atheism and Theism but want to expand my knowledge on what other Atheists and Theists think about the bible instead of what I've been told by the JWs.

Pretending to be someone's friend in hopes of tricking them into listening to your religious opinion is manipulative & sleazy.

If you have a valid point you wish to share, speak honestly and directly.

Depends on the congregation and people you encounter. Typically, when they find out you're "interested", you'll get lovebombed and they'll climb over each other for you to be their "study." At first they'll say how good it is that you're interested in Jesus and the Bible, but when you contradict their beliefs and don't stick to the answers in the paragraphs, they'll drop you like you're garbage.

I'd say, "Go for it!", if you really want to spend your time on something like that. I'd be interested to hear your story. Maybe you'd actually rescue some poor JW zombie.

How do you indeed to do this? You are very unlikely be picked to comment during the meeting, and if you do get to comment, they won't ask you again if your words don't match what the WT teaches. When talking to people after the meeting, as soon as you start to talk about your (reason for going to the meeting) your topics, you will be judged as being an interested person who has still got a lot to learn, or an apostate. You will be judged an apostate if you bring up anything about WT in a negative way. So all in all, I think you will be wasting your time.

Okay, I'm about to go to my first Kingdom Hall meeting or study or whatever it is called in about a hour. I have been doing a very indepth study on Jehovah's Witnesses from reading their literature, listening to testimonies etc. etc. I am curious to compare all the stories I've read with the actual experience. I wonder if the stereotype I read about them are true (I don't doubt they are but you know...).

I plan to go to two different Kingdom Halls throughout the week.

I really want to reach out to them. I am not going to very blatant with my preaching. I am going to ask questions as my seed planting. I think I know how to be subtle. I am not going to ask questions out in the open. I will ask questions with people in one on one conversations.

It will be probably be uneventful but I'll share my experience on this thread.

Pray for me if you believe in Jesus.

You could turn it into a project.

Record or document your experiences, and after a length of time, post your observations and results.

Unless you integrate, your odds of any kind of success will extremely low.

If you play the game for a while, and you're a male wearing pants, you may be able to attract attention from a female, and maybe succeed that way, but that raises a number of ethical issues.
