Island Woman, While your comments were brief, I thought they were right on the money. As men, we were geneticly programmed and raised to be the aggressor, and the killer if necsessary. As you pointed out, in this battle between the WT and us, you need men with the killer instinct to win this battle. The women will help the survivors, but the men will bring the battle to the enemy. We had a woman as Head of Justice Dept, better be analytical to hold that position. And a few Head of State worldwide.

If some have children is just becasuse THAT is what they wanted. Some women have a hard time admitting the differences between female and male.

On at least 6 occasions I have emailed or called KNOWN MEN APOSTATES asking for project support, needing info etc etc.

I think you should all know, the men will only work with other men. NOT ONCE has anyone offered to provide me with info that **I** could use to kick some JW ASS. You know who offered to help me, who I have spoken with a couple of times? HAWKAW. People he is not even a JW, never has been.

Us women are outsiders. It doesn't matter if we are well known, if we have incredible resources at our disposal, if we use our own name, if we are willing to endanger our safety etc etc in this war. We will only ever be army nurses and will never know the glory of battle.

BUT DON'T YOU DARE fucking talk about how MEN will do the fighting, we need the men warriors, etc etc when you've got a SLAMMING KICK ASS woman right here volunteering and being told,"UM no that's ok." It's basically still a closed club.

It's ok for the men to be loudmouths, critics, vocal dissidents, etc etc, but as soon as a woman does she is viewed with the same criticism as she was viewed in the JW cong. "She don't know her place, does she?"

There is no even playing field. We have never had access to the information that men JWs have and guess what? We still don't.

For the record everyone has issues, including my friend TeeJay. I stated some observations, all of which are valid.

I started reading this a few days ago. I didn't think I would reply.

Without stating names, ( I don't want either sex to feel more important) I will say I agree with everyone. Hows that for fence riding?

I do not have the "inside information" that is required to do any harm to the borg. My mother, in for 35 years, never heard about 1918, 1925, etc. No clue. Will she do the research to find out? NO.

I sent her CoC and she still has not read it...too busy.

I know what I know because of this board and all the links I found over the last year. I have been off work...I have time to research now. This was critical for me. Time.

I recently met one of the posters here. He left recently (last few months) and needed someone to talk to. I feel really good that I could "help" him by showing that the apostate community is normal....we are all human. I hope to keep in touch with him on his spiritual journey.

I have been helped tremendously by both men and women here. Both are critical. I may be able to help in matters that are more emotional and someone else will help on the hard proof. We compliment each other.

Wow Lisa, If thats how it really is its a shame. But I cant say I'm surprised. I mean think about it..many of these guys have been JW's for years and years. They've been treating women this way all that time and were encouraged to do so and told it was the right way.

Just like its not easy to change personality traits like low self esteem, self confidents, poor decision making skills, being judgemental and arrogant and self righteous I'm sure its also not easy to change their attitude towards women.

To be honest, even being a woman it was wierd at first to think of myself as an equal with valid opinions and thoughts so it must be twice as hard for the men who were in control and arrogant and superior to give that up. I dont blame them, I think they just have to un-learn that behavior.

Hawkaw is a gentleman and very effective, as i said before he deserve a Honorific Degree. He deals with very serious issues and he present only FACTS, neve fluff.

FYI

Precedent you probably rembember, not long ago a "lady" offered herself to help etc.

Now, not many are too happy with her behaivor on this board.

Interesting comments. I think there is a certain amount of truth to your initial thoughts.

Your comments above however could be viewed as an example of taking factual information and fitting into a pre-conceived sense of bias.

I don't know why the individuals you wrote did not reply. One possibility is thta they don't agree with your approach. I am not saying this is my position regarding you, but it is a position I have taken with some others.

For example, I outright refuse to have anything to do with the people involved with the JahChristian Group. Why? Because in their zeal they muddle up the hard work of others. Like all here my time is precious. I do not like throwing my efforts into a project only to have it muddled up by these self righteous zealots.

Thankfully Lisa, you are not like this in my opinion, however not knowing who it is you asked for help I cannot rule out that others might feel that way. It is possible that it has nothing to do with your gender. It may, but at this point it is an assumption that should not be viewed as fact.
