I think I get it. What you are saying is that this site is taken over by the fluffers and the researchers like you and Jan, 607 not!, H are getting little attention. It is true your posts are brilliant (spelling?) but they only get 300-400 hits. I have printed off a number of your posts and my friend Carol always asks for them...PS The places on the bus are filling fast so if you want to blow town...

Out with the "old" in with the "young". Farkel is the exception. He's the Sean Connery of the board, he may look old, but can still kick ass. You on the other hand, are old, and need a diaper for your ass. The "real men" stay. Girly-boys leave town at high noon.

Personally, I'm no great researcher, but I do try to write humourous (SP?), anti-Dub posts where and when I can.

Imbue

Farkel, research isn't the only important contribution to this forum. Many individuals share personal experiences that are invaluable to understanding the WTS's social system. These writings provide insight into how the WTS has destroyed so many family relationships and lives.

Otherwise I agree with your assessment.

btw..Some fluff is a welcome as comic relief and for socialization.

However ...enough is enough already... *sigh*

Anyone wanting serious research? There are plenty of us that are ready willing and able to provide it. Comprehensive history of WTS back to pre-1879? No problem. Study of Bible in original languages? Any Scripture, any subject, anytime. Sociological/philosophical/psychological evaluations requested? Scads of scholarly threads and hundreds of personal testimonies here. Incisive identification and dissection? You have yourself contributed mightily to same. Hurting dubs? Perhaps too much, IMHO. Hate is never good.

That the "serious" subjects may not seem to receive proportionate attention could be merely an indication that many here are searching for more fundamental personal answers. I speak for myself in this regard.

Sincerely hoping the best for you as you move on to other life pursuits.
