  I just saw this thread - and my first reaction was "Again........condemnation of the fluffers." Democracy is grand, btw. It seems there's always someone damning someone else for not doing what the first someone wanted the second one to do.

  But I've been thinking along Hilliary's 2nd post for a while now. And the famous quote by a member of Parliment "Be prepared to leave any organization within 5 years. It won't be the same organization you joined - it will have evolved."

  Well, xjw's are evolving - the same as jw's. The VAST majority of jw's can't explain - in detail - their doctrines. In our area, they're even taught NOT to - go to the WT teachings instead. Try to get a jw to prove anything beyond one or two scriptures - and good luck.

  I believe we live in reality in a social structure - not a doctrine structure. Even the WTBTS is evolving into that - look at the articles they print now.....social situations primarily.

  I think dealing with life, death, children, cancer, families, on and on and on is a necessary part of our lives - and ones that the WTBTS didn't train us for. We have to learn much of this - and make up for the years we lost. Maybe that's one reason we resort to fluff so much - and it's not always sexual. Life's hard, and we were handicapped by the WTBTS. We're trying to regain our equilibrium - and it's hard at times.

  We could have never gotten this far without the skill & determination of the Warriors - and much appreciation is due to them for the volumes of facts they've given us freely. Perhaps now we'd like to know them as people too?

  Btw, I agree with LB. Perhaps Farkel would appreciate a good fluffing - which suggests that he might be a good fluffer too...............
