    Simon:

Why did the world (UN) support the US with this demand if you are saying they did not want it? Becuase they do...........or they would have vetoed the US points that it wanted.

What happened to France and Germanys objections? where are they...?

OG: they did not sell arms to Germany.

A must read interview of one of the greatest living Americans - Michael Moore. Notice the interview is in a British paper.

Pearl Harbor was the result of declaring war with Japan

I thought you declared war on Japan because of Pearl Harbor ... or are you suggesting that you declared war on someone and then all sat in port waiting to get creamed?

I'm not going to discuss this with you ThiChi because I don't think it is something that you will reasonably debate. You have your opinion on what happens and I have mine.

You may (probably / definitely will) disagree with this but the "America can do no wrong and should never be critiscised" view has turned quite a positive thread on America into more of a negative one. It is this attitude that really gets up the nose of many non-Americans who then want to set things straight because we naturally see things ever so slightly differently.

It may help you for the future to realise how people feel and see things.

It is overly sensitive to politically correctness and then allows anyone to carry a gun.

Simon! I only wish this were true! Here in California we have very oppressive gun laws and are home to the Gun Control movement (*puke*). All these gun laws and yet we have some of the highest rates of murders. I am thinking about moving to Oregon, Nevada, or Arizona. Their gun laws are friendly and I can buy some really cool toys.

On an side note, do you realise how hard it would be for a foriegn country to occupy the U.S.??

Also, the Brits helped us out big time in WWII. Could there have been a D-day without England?? Could we have Island Hoped in the Pacific without Austrailia? Liberated the Chinese without India?? NO, NO, and NO!!

That is an outrage. I do not agree with your statement at all. I can go into a whole list of what I would like to see changed. Do you want to see it? I respect your viewpoint. We will see who is right by the outcome.

However, on this subject, I would love to see a dictatorship transferred into a democracy for the benefit of the area and the people.
