Hi sis, I am still waiting for Noland to apologize for the libel and slander he heaped upon me while he was the head Nazi in TN 3. Daisy is probably one of the few 'demon possesed' people I've actually ever met lol. What a unit! I think any one could "buy" an elder appointment from this bung hole. What a waste of skin!

Clayton Peace- what a dud! I was "assigned" to baby sit him at a quick build in FL. He had been a bethel "electrician" in '02 or some nonsense. About 2 hours of this guy shadowing me around the project site I ditched him and went home. Basically he out seeing and being seen by the masses.
Lewis Langoria and Maryilin- they got a circuit up in SW MI. I think she POed every one she crossed paths with.Maybe the only other posesed person I've ever known. Had a Johhny Cash thing going -always in black.
    Oh well live and learn.

My favourite was David Splane and his wife Linda. He was quite balanced. One of his visits came during the winter and where we were we got a lot of snow. So that he wouldn't think we were slackers, we went out in a snowstorm to do visits (also not to get behind in our hours). He said how can you let "your reasonableness" before all men be known if you're the only people crazy enough to be out on the roads. He was also a great Muppet fan and freqently tried to work his schedule so as not to miss the show.

    Hello,

My favourite was David Splane and his wife Linda.....He was also a great Muppet fan..
Yes, well, he certainly has much in common with them.

Most 'Theocrats' act normally in the few spare hours that the WTS allows them to be people, it is when they struggle into their uniforms that the tears begin to fall.

As I have said before, over my thirty five years as a JW, I have met some CO's that I have liked, but none that I trust.

    Best regards - HS

Does anybody remember the Yoshikawa's from Hawaii? There was an article about him in an Awake! magazine in the mid/late 70's I think.

    OK, here's my 2 cents:

Bob Suter - Really nice guy, very helpful.

John Crispin - the best ever...really cared a lot

Anthony Conte - weird but lovable

Anthony Bellegante (now you know I'm old) - weirder but even more loveable

Anthony DeCinti - Subhuman...very judgmental and unloving, noted for ending every talk by putting his hand over his brow, and saying "Say, has anybody here seen brother or sister so-and-so?" Implying that that might be said about YOU right after Armageddon if you didn't get on the stick. Every time I heard one of his talks, I wanted to leave the Kingdom Hall and never come back.

Mike Roche - Funny guy, but very agressive with judicial action for even the slightest infractions. Thinks of himself as Jehu come to wipe out the idolators. Total organization man, would sell his soul to the devil to protect the Borg (perhaps he has). Also very deceitful. If he says he wants to "help" you, watch out!

Howard Stockham - Another guy you don't want to be "helped" by. Total power trip.

Denis Raftopoulous - Straight arrow with a heart of gold.

Ernest Bennett - Nice guy, but not smart enough to be a CO.

Sam Hurd - Didn't know him personally, but an excellent speaker.

Fred Thekoolkatt Hall was a most mysterious wanabe-CO posting on this board. (joke... get it.)

I remember Brent Smith very well! I was only very young when he was my CO, but he was my all-time fave! I just remember that he was interesting to listen to, and didn't drone on like most of them did.

I also spent a few days at Hellaby when it was being built. Doing exciting 'sister jobs' like making tea. Our cong moved from Dudley to Hellaby but then a few years ago I heard that they had been demoted back to Dudley again. What a hovel that place was. Although I heard that it had been renovated...

I've read almost all of these, have to come back later
and finish, but I don't know why none of these seem
to ring a bell with me. I can't remember any overseer
that made that much of an impression on me since I was
    a little kid. I don't mean that sarcasticly, I just don't
remember them. I do however remember one though that
I liked a lot back in the late 60's or early 70's, His
name was bro Kite. I think when he came to visit our
congergation it may very well have been the only time
I pay'd attention to the entire talk.
I'll never forget him. He was very funny and so animated
and I don't think he ever looked at notes. His attention
was always on the audience and the audience was either
being real quiet so as not to miss anything he said
    or they were laughing.
    I liked him.

Not to mention any names, but an experience regarding a CO. I was very young, a young wife, going to go out in service one day. Before we got togeather it was mentioned to me to pick someone to work with out in service, since i was so shy, so i did. Well the little meeting started before we went out, we were all togeather at a brother's home with the CO there and during the morning session, he asked if anyone made arrangements to work out in service that morning with someone else, well stupid me put up my hand, and from there it was down hill, he said, "Well look here sister so-and-so has made arrangements, and something to the effect that, that is usually not done, well didn't I turn 3 shades of red, all I wanted to do was go home, he embarrassed me and I felt terrible, I was sitting next to his wife and turned to her and said "oh my goodness he just embarrassed me." she said nothing, I went home and cried. Thank goodness I don't have to deal with that any more.

DO: Ray Cowling (Cold as ice, spoke in a whiny drawn out voice, good speaker though, gave nice talks)

CO: Andre Willys (The nicest JW I've ever met that had responsibilitys)

Don't have any that i've hated.
