Ahhhh, badger, if only I was 10 years younger...
You feel you are being treated as a child who needs a scolding? First, ask yourself how you have been treating others? as children? who need scolding?
Oh brother
This was why I left the JWs.
Oh, yes. Play the "you're just like those stinking JWs" card, too, while you're at it... What else have you got?
This is pretty.... amusing.

You were disfellowshipped for teen sarcasm?!

OK people please play nice and not start insulting each other.
Listen Patio, if you don't like my style, then fine. I've had plenty of direct personal JABS by people here who've said blantantly rude and personal things. No one seemed to have problems with their STYLE. -- Blacksheep
Boy! You're not kidding about rude and personal things. No argument there and ftr, it's not my opinion that you've been blatantly rude and said too personal things.
Regardless, yes sarcasm often works better than just getting in a verbal fight. Someone didn't like the fact that I referred to terrorist murders as "subhuman." In the wake of what's happening, I believe they need to realize how ridiculous that sounds. There appears to be more concern with people being PC than there is to realize what is happening here. --BS
Of course, there are more options than only two: sarcasm or verbal fights. I think things can be discussed calmly, rationally, and respectfully. Or rather I know they can.
FTR, I'm not wild about your style either: you seem to be treating me as some sort of child who needs a scolding. Thought this was a forum where people can express their views pretty much freely. Guess for some people, there are more complex rules on how exactly we are ABLE to express our views.
Lol, that was pretty clever about not being wild about my style. You aren't breaking the rules, imo, just unneccessarily polarizing folks.

I think people are already pretty well polarized on the issues that are coming out.
Sadly, I think that if we deep down don't agree with other people, or think our opinion is the right one, we start to pick apart the person who doesn't share the same opinons.
Just an observation. ^^shrug^^
Hi Blacksheep,
Well, not much that we say here has any impact on the situation at any rate. Maybe a teeny.
If we ever meet at an Apostafest, I'll buy you a cup of coffee or a drink.
I'm off to work now--I've been a bit under the weather from a sinus infection (the meds made me ill)--but I'm feeling better.
