I thought that was the whole point of that definition? To have an appropriate label for one who can't qualify their belief, or lack thereof.
Yes, exactly. It was self humor I'm not usually subtle, which is why you missed it this time.

Gah, ya got me, I didn't expect it - LOL.
That one was good enough for a Brit
But really, i'm not sure if i'm agnostic.
SS, ya bastard! Me and you have a lot in common in this particular area. I feel the same so I'm going to label myself as a three quarters atheist insted of half. Even if life began from simply a "higher source", it still begs the question as to why this source cannot at least give us some hints as to how humans can alleviate some of their problems.....such as death and suffering. If it's heartless aliens that put us here, I'd rather believe I came from a damn monkey/ pond scum.
The wonders in life do not go hand in hand with human suffering........that's the frickin dilema

So, what have you been doing for the last 8 hours?
Suffering and wonder is the experiential dichotomy of "God".
It seems that every subject has at least one.
So, what have you been doing for the last 8 hours?
Well since it's only 9:30 AM here, I've only been awake for bout 2 and a half hours, drinking coffee, sittin on my arse at this computor trying to think of stuff to make me look smart against bastards of the likes of you
I got to get off my buttsky and do my sweeties honeydoo's real soon myself. Mow, put a siding patch on my garage, try and hook up a 5th wheel for the first time since buying it without destroying my truck and 5th wheel
Yes, suffering and god is a toughie for most. For me....just to know my life would go on after passing away in the flesh and that there is something else better......would ease my frustrations as well of millions of others I suppose.

Since it's only 1:30 p.m. here in Texas, I am mellowing out for a moment with a tasty pinot grigio and listening to music from my childhood (Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick).
mmmmmm ... wiiiinnnnnnnne

Alanf writes::: Unlike many religious people who think they know the mind of the Christian God or some other god. : I do not make the claim to know the mind of God. (DDog) Then you're not much of a Christian, nor do you have any right to tell people about your God .
Romans 11:34 "Who has known the mind of the Lord?

Dont feel bad DDog I dont know his mind either.
1Co 2:16
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. What is interesting to me, is that the verse he gets that from is teaching that the mind of God and the mind of Christ are not the same.
I couldn't see the point in getting into the differences between the two, with him, when just two verses before says:
1Co 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them , because they are spiritually discerned.D Dog
