I remember quite a few years ago, this female whom I worked with-we were real good friends. I picked her up for work and dropped her off for work. I was single (for a moment) and unbeknown to me she was shagging a few guys at the job! I actually did like her but decided not to act on it. I think she knew though.

Well, anyway when I told her that had I had met someone else all hell broke loose. She cried on the phone she even started crying at work. All of this was strange to me cuz I didn't even know she had feelings for me.

My boss came and asked me why I broke her heart!

I cut off all association after that. No sexual harrasment case for me!

One of my best friends is female and despite spending a great deal of time with each other none of us has wanted to jump the others bones; it just isnt like that...never has been and never will be...

Since you are such close friends, wouldn't it be possible to subtly check out the possibility without losing the friendship? I know that when i was a jw, a few times worldly girls did something like that and even though i didn't go for it, it didn't change things much. Once a girl that i was in an adult class w said to me, 'if a girl came onto you, what would you do?' I told her that i would explain my beliefs, or something like that, and that was the end of it. 'Course, your mileage could vary.

I've tested out to see if he is attracted to me. I am not meaning to sound arrogant or anything but I take very good care if myself and have a nice body. I've gone swimming in his pool, had him put lotion on me......nothing. I sensed no attraction from him. He was talking about the Tour de France for goodness sake as he's putting lotion on my back. After that I decided not to take it any further. I am not willing to risk our friendship.

If it makes you feel any better the guy sounds to be totally insane. Or gay possibly?

No he's not gay. He loves women and has gone through so many I have lost count. It's just he does not look at me in a sexual way. Simple as that. He calls me "sis". It never bothered me until now.

Thanks for clarifying that carol. Since your post was logged just after mine, I was looking at my post to see what was wrong with it.

He was just trying to think of something completely opposite to your sexy, lotioned, back...yanno...to keep the "stiffy" at bay.
