So if "parents are to blame for children leaving the truth", then STEP DOWN GB!
by stuckinarut2 inif to mo's comments in the talk re "parents are to blame for children not being in the truth etc", (and yes, as many have already very nicely pointed out that this must therefore imply that "jehovah is to blame for satan and the angels rebelling"), doesn't this mean then that members of the gb need to step down?.
haven't some of the gb got family that are not "in the truth"?.
hypocrites yet again!.

Bible prophecies falter?
by Kalos inwt-projected anglo-american dual world power has many times showed they are no longer dual.
latest in the series is britains inclination towards recognizing palestinian state which runs counter to us interests.
(http://mondoweiss.net/2014/10/parliament-overwhelmingly-palestinian) and now eu is poised for doing something more (http://online.wsj.com/articles/european-nations-consider-recognizing-palestinian-state-1415406076.

Religion without revelation - any examples from the past?
by EdenOne ini'm researching on the common trait of mostly every religion coming from pre-humanist times, and that would be, the notion of "revelation", that is, that at the beginning of every [i say this with caution because i'm admitting to exceptions] religion there is some sort of "revelation" from supernatural being(s) of some sort.. my question is: do you know of any example of religions from the past that you can confidently say that were exempt from "revelation"?
this is not the same as asking if there were religions without gods, or religions of nature.
i'm not even considering what i understand as philosophical-ethical systems, such as confucionism or platonism my purpose is to find out if, at the starting point of all religions of the past, there is a "revelation", or merely "observation / contemplation".

God is not an element both in religious fanaticism and atheism alike
by exWTslave inin my intimate conversations with many of my atheists friends i have found that their real problem is the human rights abuse of the religious fanaticssomething which god hates (not the lack of proof for gods existence) (means when the religions went to one extreme, their opponents go to another extremethus god is not at all an element in religious fanaticism and atheism alike) atheists shun, belittle or resist proofs for the existence of god, because they fear it will only further strengthen the religion from which the fanaticism arisethus object of atheists attack is fanaticism (not god) .
hence what atheists do is really a service to the humanity (while fanaticism is a crime against humanity).
hence when the atheists ask for proof for the existence of god, one need not take it seriously.

Their name [Jehovahs Witnesses], GB arrangement, main activityall are apostate in origin!
by Kalos inhere is the greatest irony of our timean organization that literally yells at the apostates is actually a personification of apostasy:.
1) if an organization takes the name witnesses of god, they must be (through their action) declared righteous and observers should testify: it is the truth, warns isaiah 43:9 (which is the verse immediately preceding isaiah 43:10 which jws takes as the basis of their name).
[an organization that made nearly 50 major changes in their teachings create the impression that god is not the same, but constantly is changing (contrast isaiah 43:10; james 1:17)].

Millerites, Jehovahs Witnesses and Purple Triangles
by Simon ini came across this after posting another iq video to a different topic.
interesting how much the jehovahs witnesses are featured ... but it is because they are a millenial cult with failed rapture prophecies:.

Science is right in its details, but wrong in its direction
by exWTslave inscience observes, studies and analyses the basic nature of all the components constituting the part of any experiment, follows the principle of cause and effect, and come out with equipments that would contribute to our comfort and save us lots of time and energyall of which are ultimately aimed at making life on this earth happier, longer and healthier, thus making this world a better place to live.. yet man day-by-day becomes more and more unhappy and discontented, and world is becoming bitter and bitter!
it means: though science is right in its details, it has gone wrong in its direction.
it failed to rightly judge and assess the true nature of its prime object (man) for whom it works.

Did God really test Adam and Eve, and Abraham?
by Kalos ingod does not test anyone.
(james 1:14) hence any account claiming god as testing man (perfect or imperfect) will betray the signs of mans (not gods) thought!.
1) god asking adam not to eat of a particular fruit-bearing tree defies all logic as any fruit-bearing tree is a symbol of goodnessproducing nutritious food (not for themselves) for others; thus doing good for the sake of goodness, which is the very core-attribute of god himself (mathew 5:44-47; mark 10:18) hence eating [the principle] of a fruit-bearing tree would only make man like godsomething jesus himself commanded everyone to do!!!.
