i've noticed that many of you are athiest or agnostic.
is there anyone that is still searching?
do any of you feel a void when it comes to faith and spirituality?
I've noticed that many of you are Athiest or Agnostic. Is there anyone that is still searching? Do any of you feel a void when it comes to faith and spirituality? Sometimes it really disturbs me that I don't really have any beliefs right now.....I couldn't tell you what I believe on anything from heaven and hell to God.
Just wondering if anyone else feels the same.

started last week sunday, sorry for the delay in posting.. the downside is that it's only 3 days a week.
but i'm still continuing to look for a better job.. my landlord moved me to a studio apt which is 300 dollars a month with still all utilties paid.
it's an ok apt, not too shabby.

this is just a question i am wondering about , since my daughter age 10, has asked me to take her to church.
we have been out of the jw's for 2 yrs and she hated the meetings , we spent most of the time , outside in the car, in the bathroom or home the last years we were jw's.
she has alot of little friends who go to a little group on tuesdays to learn about jesus and do things likes arts and crafts.. well, the ladies at the first baptist church invited her to go to sunday school for her age group.
My husband and I attended a baptist church with his cousin. I was terrified! The very first thing I noticed was in one of the songs that they were displaying on the screen it said Jehovah....That was shocking to me. My mother had always told me that the churches didn't ever use that name.
Other than that it went okay until the pastor got really carried away. I felt like he was a phony and was just trying to get people pumped up right before he asked for a pledge.
All together it wasn't too bad but I don't think that I will ever be Baptist.

I've mentioned this in a post before, but, the dumbest thing some has told me is that my dog is having demon problems because he tried to get out of his kennel while we were gone one day and made his little nails bleed.............oh, and the reason the demons are bothering him is because his name is Lucky.............
yesterday someone asked for suggestions for their one year anniversary..... mine is coming up in just a couple of weeks (march 25th) and we are going to dallas for the weekend............any suggestions on cool things to do while we are there?

Head a little bit farther west for some tumble weeds...:) I grew up in Midland, TX and there are plenty of them around there. I, too, love the roads in Dallas...hehe, with the exception of when my husband is driving on them....:)

well, last week at my mother in law?s meeting, a letter was read, which was subsequently relayed to us (and any other heathens who might have transgressed the list of holy hotels).
Everyone knows, if you don't follow theocratic order and stay at hotels on "the list" you will burn in hell!!!!

i was having a root canal at the dentist yesterday (ouch!!!
) and while i was sitting in the chair looking at the dentist's light i suddenly flashed back to when i was younger and sitting in the dentist's chair.
i couldn't believe it........."think about paradise" actually came into my thoughts.
I cannot believe this. That is how I used to comfort myself in stressful or scary situations...I would think about paradise.........It is scary that that actually came to me yesterday. I haven't had that thought in 10 years.....
Sometimes I wish we could totally erase the past and start fresh...............
i've just been playing with a perl script which gives you a countdown to any date you input and put in the date of my first wedding anniversary.
scarily it's only 6 months away so i need to start planning where to go and what to do.
any suggestions?.
My husband and I got married and spent our honeymoon at the Sandals resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica last March...........It was the best place either of us have ever been...We absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back.
I know you said you hate touristy stuff but there are plenty of things to do on your own in Jamaica like climb the Dunns River Falls.
