26Picketing Duluth Georgia convention
by Junction-Guy ini believe i finally found the perfect venue for me to picket, duluth ga, which is just outside of atlanta.the conventions there are the 2nd and 3rd weekend in august.
i know absolutley no one in georgia and there are no chances i could run into any family members there.
there are a couple of conventions before then in s.c. and johnson city tennessee, however for various reasons-monetary and otherwise i am choosing georgia.

I know what you mean, Corvin. I had to threaten them legally to get any peace. Sometimes, I seriously thinking of moving so I don't have to see witnesses that I knew everywhere I go.
Also, don't feel bad because you needed to blow some steam. After all, it's mighty theraputic sometimes!!!

I can never understand why people always say about teens, "Oh, they just want attention" and then ignore them. If they want attention, maybe parents should consider giving them some. Otherwise, they just get worse and worse. Usually if my kids start acting like that, I spend a little extra time with them, and talk to them so I can find out why they want extra attention. This has always stopped the problem immediately. My kids are far from perfect and I don't mean to say this is the solution to all problems, but it's definately the road less traveled among parents.

Jesus Christ - just a myth?
by davit inrecently recommended to read a book called 'the pagan christ' asserting that the whole story is just a myth (beggars the imagination) and with parallel stories in most other religions preceding and borrowed by (so-called) christianity.
can anyone throw some light on this for me please or tell me where i should go next .

Just thought I'd point out that it really isn't a good idea to believe everything you read. That's how lots of people got screwed up with the JW's. If you're curious about this subject examine all of the evidence and then decide for yourself.

Neutrality....

i left the "truth" about 7 years ago for reasons i am not ready to go into at this time- mainly because i dont have the time to explain them at the moment.
though i do not believe entirely what the witnesses teach, i am surprised to see such anger and hatred towards them.

Even though I do not agree with your viewpoint, I applaude you for speaking your mind. You certainly have the right to have your own opinion. Many here have been treated very badly by the witnesses and probably won't like some of your comments, but please understand that it's the hurt talking. It's probably good for us all to hear a neutral viewpoint.

Kingdom Hall Destroyed By Fire
by Kenneson inthe denbigh, virginia kingdom hall was destroyed by an accidental fire begun by a member who was welding and soldering pipes in a bathroom.
the insulation ignited and although he tried to extinguish the blaze, he was unsuccessful.

My Tattoo
