  i read more threads than i post too.

  i had a thought ?

  what if i were still a jw and i came here to jwd and read many post that had hate god or abusive language etc in them would i continue to come back here ?

  Sorry that was what I meant, I used the wrong word.

  My thought on this whole thing was this, I asked myself if I were still a JW would I come into this site after reading certain threads or post. I realize that we have a freedom of speech and it is a great freedom. I also understand that we as ex JW's have a great need to vent. I don't know maybe I am to compassionate towards others feelings.

  My goal as an ex witness is to get as many out of that terrible cult. I was helped out when coming out and feel the need to help others. Thanks for the replies...

  List What You Consider "Wrong" In The Organization

  some witnesses might not really believe that they don't have "the truth".

  sure, they know about some of the past errors but they bury it because they feel everyone is imperfect and can make mistakes....but are these just simple "mistakes" or is the watchtower organization simply wrong?

  what things can you think of that show that the watchtower has a "pattern" of never getting it right---even to this day??

  I was not saying that it is wrong of us to show our hurt and anger. A person can be agressive without being abusive and that is my point here. I understand the pain and anger that comes from learning about the WTBS because I was there also and I am bitter about being decieved but more angry at myself for allowing myself to be fooled and not doing the research before I did after leaving.

  I think people and I mean anyone can tell the difference of expressing anger and hurt without the use of certain words. I truly believe it is by our actions is how we are determined by others and if we are really here to help others to leave the cult or cults, then I think by our use of words might draw a bigger attention to JWD, How many more JW's would become ex JW's if we used better choices in our words.

  As I have said in the past, Apostasy is someone who leaves God and "NOT" a religion or organisation. Now I suppose since Adam and eve are considered Apostates they do not study or read Genesis, as it was stated in the Watchtower article that they should not study from those who are Apostates.

What if I were still a JW and I came here to JWD and read many post that had Hate God or abusive language etc in them would I continue to come back here ? I have to wonder if there would not be more JW's here and leaving the society if we were a little more selective in our words and thoughts ?

  I believe it is by our actions and words that others see what kind of person or people we are and if the still JW comes here and sees those post that are crude and rude, thoughtless of others, foul words etc... that the JW say's to themselves "YEP" the society was right about those who leave the organisation....

  Why do so many people NEED to believe in a greater purpose?

  Lets get something straight here. Some seem to lose sense of what a drug is or is not. Drugs are something man made, where several additives are made to create a "drug" Thing like weed, mushrooms, peyote etc... are not drugs but rather an herb. "Herb" meaning plant untouched by mans additives. Meth, Cocaine, Heroine these are drugs even though they started with a plant, they had additives put in them to create the drug. The same as the governments when creating medicines begin with an herb but ends as a drug because of the additives. So there are drugs and there are herbs.

  God say's to Adam in Gen:2-1 "Make use of all seed bearing plants, well Marijuana is a seed bearing plant, did man create the Marijuana plant ? Or did God create it ? I would have to agree with the later. God created the Valarium root but man created the Vallume (LOL) did I spell that right ? Got to make sure you spell it right as you might get criticized for it from all those perfect people you know !!!!!!

  What was YOUR childhood dream?

  being a professional baseball player.

  i ended up being a professional golfer and teacher, one of the few hats i wear.

  as a kid i lived for sports everything else was secondary, i love competition, in competition winning and losing is part of the game, it's a given.

  i have a friend who's reading knowledge that leads to everlasting life and i need some help with refutation, opposing views, etc.

  are there any good past posts on here regarding this book and/or good web sites?.

  Isn't it funny that they think that knowledge leads to ever lasting life when all real christian faiths teach that Jesus Christ is the key to everlasting life. What a dumbo religion the JW society are..... and I was dumbo to fall for it.

  Lost friends, family & Lovers

  do you have a friend or family member or even an old lover you would like to find ?

  have you ever tried using the internet to locate them ?

  i have done a lot of research in this and have located several people for others and found a few old school buddies.

  I have found that men are easier to find than women because men never change their names but a woman will when she marries. Although you can still find the female through marriage records etc. Ther are also online websites that will aide you in your search for a small fee and they are very helpful in finding others.
