Obama's Crowds Have Repeating Incident of Fainting-Real Or Contrived?

I went to an Obama Rally when he came to our campus (I was only in line for 30 minutes, some of my friends for 6 hours though...). I follow alot of his coverage so I've heard most of his speech highlights, it was just nice to hear him speak in person. However there was an 'obamican' in the audience and the women's basketball team was also in the standing and he spent a few seconds joking around with them , it did feel a bit contrived but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, All in all I don't think his campaign was necessarily faking it. I'm glad he won my state by double digits though, lets see if he can keep the momentum.

We are we almost all black now? Especially CO's.
by coaster infor the past couple of years at my district conventions, i have been unable to actually listen to most of it, so my mind is in many places.
one such place was to count people in several of the other sections as to blacks and whites.
section 132..42 white and 137 black, section 133..36 white and 144 black, and so on.

In the area that I live in, there are only black CO's. We've had a mixture of white and black DO's though.
Growing up, i was always irritated at the fact that the watchtowers had a diverse group of people sitting in the meetings but my congregation was 99.999% black, the .001% being the occasional white or Hispanic public speaker and an Indian sister who sporadically came to our meetings.
I guess it all has to do with where you are. In the territory I was a part of blacks make up about 57% of the population. The blacks in our territory were working class and the whites in our territory were government officials, young professionals or college students and I don't know about you guys, but I feel that selling the word of the watchtower is a lot easier to sell to working class folk than to very well off individuals.
My family in the 'truth' get angry when i say this, but one thing I've noticed among most witnesses regardless of ethnicity is the contentment with the "Upward Mobility" that the watchtower society provides (as opposed to secular advancement). Maybe thats why it was so popular in my area. -

I think that it becomes a problem when only one of the spouses is really into it and the other one is going with the flow to save a marriage/relationship. I don't think it's fair for someone to ask for an open relationship when they've already establish a stable relationship. Also, in a heterosexual open relationship, it seems that the males are all for it if the door is only 'open' on their side. Unless this is something brought up in the beginning of the relationship, i don't think it's worth it.

Time paradox. Its the trippiest thing ever.
I've left myself messages like that on blogs and emails. I changed delivery dates and sent whole entire journals about my day to my email sometime in the future. (I think some spam company's have caught on to the idea, because i've been receiving spam messages from 2032, lol).
I have notebooks where i scribble codes and messages to my future self and years later i find them and try to figure out what they meant.
Its really fun when you think about it. Just shows you how much you've changed 1,2,5,10 years down the road.

My Movie Mishap

LOL. Sorry but that's a pretty funny story. That almost happened to me at school because the women's bathroom is right next to an elevator (You'd think they'd put the bathroom somewhere else considering theres so much traffic). I kind of see the reason you had trouble considering there was a big, grinning idiot standing over you. Isnt there a an untold rule in bathroom urinal ettiquette?( http://games.download3000.com/play/the-urinal-game). Least the movie was good, I think i'm going to take a friend to see it.

Anyone else refuse(ing) to go to the memorial?
by Dune ini'm pretty sure that if i went today, it would give me yet another 6 months of peace at home.
but...i simply refuse to go to anymore witness events.
i talked to an ex-witness friend and she told me that even though she's df'ed and doesnt believe in the religion, the 'event' is only 45 minutes and doesnt see why i shouldnt go.

An Electric Cancer Cure?
by metatron ini am investigating various claims from years past that certain electrical treatments could cure cancer.. see:.
http://www.cancer-treatment.net/new-alternative-cancer-treatment-options_struggle-information.htm.
dr. nordstrom ( who invented the needle biopsy) pursued research into this area and a man named.

I saw something about that in "ripley's believe it or not". It was during that time when people like Thomas Edison would do almost anything to sell their products.
But who knows?

When is it time to tell your adult children get the Blank out?
by avidbiblereader into me there is a definite difference in my generation and the one coming after me, when i graduated you basically had three choices.
military, college or a fulltime job which meant more than 40 and you were expected to grow up, today kids are seen as postponing this for years, it reminds me of the proverbs 29:21 kjv says .
21 he that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.. when is it time to push the little birds from the nest and tell them to flap real hard?.

I'm 20 and still live at home.
I'm in college and work part time, I pay $300 - $400 a month for rent depending on if i'm on break and have done so since I graduated from high school two years ago.
I've considered moving out, but a decent place in this area costs $500+, and with car insurance and school, I cant really afford that at the moment.
I have alot of friends who've moved out, but their parents are paying for their apartments and houses.
It does suck that i cant have parties and cant have any visitors( )over (family is still in the borg), but I think free homecooking is a pretty good deal.
