i was looking at the news the other day and they had a 100 yr old man that went water-skiing for his 100th birthday.
now i was just thinking like a jw and somehow they might say "that 100 year old man would be of the 1914 generation so there are probably millions like him still alive" so if there is lets say a million 100 year old now living do you think that the wt leaders might think that they abandoned ship to quick when they disregarded the 1914 generation doctrine in 1995?

well, im reading a book right now, its called APOCALYPSE DELAYED... how apt is that for a name for a book about J-Dubs???? anyways it says there was an attempt to change their generation thingy to 1957, but they decided not to yet, because it would ruin alot of what they had taught and that it would probably cause some kind of schism...

i've completely stopped taking part in any jw activities for close to a year now and will be visiting my jw family for the next couple of weeks.
they have no idea that i have become "apostate".
for all they know i am still an active jw.
it was kinda funny, friday night i went to a buddys house to drink right, and ummm, well somehow a pioneer got invited... well, i started talking about going to a strip club and then started swearing and im telling you ai scandalized the poor kid.... then i said ha ha ha, JUST KIDDING! and asked the kid if we could go on service together.... how mean is that??? i obviously dont want to go...

and off i go to work.. my shift begins at 0230. so the alarm sounds at about 0100. i only work 3 days [usually between 12-15 hours each], but by the time my last day rolls around i have begun to hate gettng up.. i'm in that mood today..... sorry to rant.
so off to work i go soon as i eat my bowl of oatmeal.

i got so sick of sitting by myslef in the kingdom hall, trying my best not to hear what the elders were SCREAMING about... i was fourteen years old, with school the next day and i had to sit in that hall by myself till way past midnight so many times... it sucked hard!

i just loved how hundreds would appear to the meetings whuile he was there, and then when he was gone we were back to like 45 ppl... like they were tricking him into thinking they were good... like he didnt see attendance records... its ridiculous...

OH MY GOD!!! i was just thinkin about this when i stumbled on your thread... hee hee... one of my best friends. if not my best friend, we went to HS together and to the same cong... we loved each opther as friends, one day slipped made out... later on made love and the rest is history. it just got so awkward, then she got diffed and i completely lost touvh with her, it sucks... i miss her so much
