every evening, after dinner, husband and me go for a half hour walk.

last evening we were striding along and we saw a man a little way ahead of us dressed in suit and overcoat, carrying a brief case and continually looking at his watch.
He had rushed home and was now rushing off to another meeting!
Yep, the sooner they scrap all those meetings - oh, and field service, the better.
I say things like that to my JW mum sometimes and she gets really annoyed. She doesn't like them either but she's not allowed to say it.

but to me the whole jw religion is child abuse.

The poor kid in the picture. At the same time as he's running around delivering the tract he will be terrified that he has been spotted by one of his classmates. And then feeling guilty that he's feeling terrified. Yes, that's torture.
in last couple of weeks since in new zealand i was struck by really stark differences between australia and new zealand.. well lets start with simple things.

hello all, missed you all lots.. thought id pop on and update you, well bubs has missed both of her due dates, im as big as a whale and looking forward to having it all over.
i go into hosp today for my last app where i will be booked in for inducement, seeings tho she doesnt want to make her appearance at all.. ive been in and out of hosp with health problems, and those braxton hicks well they hurt like hell and made me think i was in labour more than once.
but at least i get a date today which should be in the next few days i will be holding my baby girl.. hope you are all well.

i do not belong to any denomination of men.. i am a true fan of god and his son jesus christ though.. i found this forum looking for some christian freinds to talk with.. so far in looking around the forum , most of what i've seen is bashing of jehovah's wittness's.. i am never one to go for slandering my fellow brothers and sisters in christ.. so if thats what this forum is all about i better just leave now.. responses appreciated so i know..
Hi wvpeach and welcome to JWD. Many of us are ex-JWs or on the way out. JWs are not allowed to communicate with those who have been disfellowshipped or who have disassociated themselves. Seeing some of us are in those categories, you won't find too many active JWs here.
Most of us don't hate JWs - in fact we love our families who are still in. However, venting about some of our issues may come across as bashing.
Please don't pre-judge. We've had enough of that when we were JWs.

i want to contact my adult children and let them know i do love them.
they only 2 out of 4 called me and when they thought i would die from cancer wanted to get something.
i do really love my kids ages 26 to 32 and am so depressed tonite.

You've been through a lot hambeak - some days will be better than others. Write down what you want to say to your kids, unthankful though they may be. It just shows what a good person you really are!!! Read the letter again in a week and send it then if you still want to.
Sometimes just writing things down helps.

hi all im new here, just stumbled accros the website while looking at some jw info and wasn't sure exactly what this forum was, then i quickly realised its actually just what i wanted to find!!
however there isnt really any introduction information, like a clear home page and if you are actually alighned with a particular group/organisation!
anyway, i hope to read lots more interesting stories and hopefully i will find something im after.. cheers.

Sorry to say this but when your GF is back in France facing the music, they may tell her that a sign of her repentance will be that she has nothing further to do with you. Then it will be up to her to make a choice. It's hard to trade your family, friends and everything you've ever known for one person on the other side of the world.
