  Backwards music

  of course, i'd heard the rumors of subliminal messages that all the jws say from time to time.

  but it's been quite a while, so i had forgotten about it.

  i've been cruising older songs, and i came across a nice little song on youtube.

  Anyways, I pretty much loved it for a few days. So I'm searchin around for more led zeppelin songs. And I come across "Stairway to Heaven backwards"
  
  I think "How strange, I wonder what that means?" So I listen to it.
  
  It can't be! Not my lovable song!
  
  So I record it myself, and reverse it myself...yep, they're talkin about Satan :P .
  
  
  It's just so sad. I can't bring myself to like this song anymore. It bothers me, and its a bit annoying.
  
  I guess I'll move on to the next classic band. I wanted to check out Pink Floyd. I hope they have no subliminal messages :P .

  Distancing boredom then and now

  what did you do when feeling bored as a jw, was it easy to find outlets of dammed back emotions for frustrated energies?

  if there was no internet at the time and sex outside marriage was barred and the jw society was hard to penetrate and associate with?

  i used to go for socialising with "worldly" people purchasing pornography and watching blue movies.

  I get bored some. I'm home all the time and don't work. I hardly ever get to talk to people...
  
  MSN allows me to talk to people every night tho. That's been my major, and basically only release for years. Those poor people that hear me rant :P .

  Does 100% Pollution Free electricity cost less than fossil fuel now???

  i'm a bit skeptical, but i thought i would give it a shot.. i've been watching my electric bill with reliant electricity and over the last year it has gone from $0.09 per kwh to about $0.15 per kw.

  i looked around and discovered that green mountain, which provides 100% wind and water electricity, is charging about $0.13 per kwh.. could it be true???

  could 100% renewable and pollution free energy actually cost less than fossil fuels and nuclear energy now???

  Wind, solar, and water power cost nothing to generate power, the earth does the work for them.
  
  Besides the overhead, which normal power stations need, and maintainance, they cost less methinks.
  
  
  But the amount of raw power you get is less, so it needs to be rationed.

  i know a hardworking father who wanted to keep his intelligent daughter away from obsessing about boys and empty headed fashion.. so, he started an on line brokerage account in her name and funded it with $3000.

  he told her to study the stock market and that she could.

  keep any money she makes.

  But seeing as how most of my freinds are online, Window's live is where I do most of my 'talking'. Cuz I'm a fast typer too. 80 WPM, boo ya.

  Are you a "Leader" or a "Follower"?

  i'm a "loner", so no one is following me, and i'm not following anyone.. maybe i tend slightly towards being a follower, but it better be worth my time, or i'll be back to a loner once more.

  I guess I'm a rare type around here.
  
  I'm usually more a follower than leader.
  
  Whenever my freinds walk around, I'm following, not leading.
  
  I never challenge the 'leader', either. I'm usually content to just keep things moving without conflict. I enjoy being a part in a much larger whole. Despite that, I make a poor JW :P .
  
  But a bunch of my freinds are 'leader' types anyway. Very independant folks, and thats fine with me.
  
  
  Although, in the absence of any leadership, I have been known to take charge, but it's not something I do unless needed.

  At that time, I was a little kid, completely oblivious to the world around me. Blindly serving and doing what my mom told me. I expected to live forever, even though the concept was odd to me, even then. It just didn't seem right that I should live forever.
  
  I wasn't old enough to be bothered by the fact that everyone else would have to die for it to happen. I didn't even really realise it.
  
  I was severly limited mentally :P . I wasn't even me at that time. Just some mindless shell, waiting to hit puberty and develope a personality.
