Not enough or else they would abolish the judgmental, demeaning practice that God never intended, however living by their own rules, I would say that all if not most should have been if it were not for a good ole boy system.

and i am sorry i do not have the details, but, in this particular county, they are extending how close a sex offender can live to a school, daycare, etc, from 1,000 feet to 2,000 feet.
of course the people that the outer circle is being moved to do not want this.

Just joined the RBC (regional building committee.)

he was saying that he and his wife have joined the rbc.
he was gushing about all the new projects they have in the works (an assembly hall in howell mi, and a couple of kh's.

What is your experience with the RBC?
I worked on more KH than one can imagine, from all over PA, NJ, Delaware, MD, Florida,
I worked on projects in Costa Rica, Assembly Halls in Florida twice, worked at Patterson, the Farm on construction sites
I seen more drunkenness at all the sites and unbelievable DUI and DWI from more than half the sites, seen alcholism on every site including Patterson, heck they brought it out to us on many of the sites.
Poor brothers thinking about all this spiritualityand how great this is and there are so many brothers ducking behind trucks, taking walks, squating down inside trucks to guzzle beer.
Just my observations and experiences as I too drank with them, first hand
Seen it, done it, want nothing to do with it anymore.

however, the biggest hinderence to learning truth is clinging to concepts we've accepted as 'truth' without being willing to take a closer look at other possibilities.. i ask that ridiculers have fun on other postings, so that it might be possible to enjoy comparing what we have learned, how we see things- and also share what we have found to be facts-truth!.

I dont know where you live but unless you are from another planet, this is exactly what the WISE King Solomn was speaking about. As ruler/head of your home, do you set standards that other feel are wrong or petty? But you have that right and no one can question your domain, yet what HE does always comes under scruity, always magnified and yet He can undo anything as far as damage done, we as petty little humans cannot. Who are we to check the hand of the Creator?
The big question is when? When will he finally speak up with his thunderous voice to silence all doubters? Dream on, or should we say have faith, it will happen, some day, when? nobody knows but in the mean time have faith.

I dont think it will be any different for those without faith today, people are stubborn, arrogant, and the lack of faith is evident since the beginning of time.
No wonder Christ asked when he comes back

The most complicated mechanism in the known universe, that makes the internet system of the world look like a simple toy= one Brain. Did the Internet fall into place by the random collison of molecules & atoms over endless eons?
Exactly, it is called common sense instead of blaming someone for not taking action YET and then knowing that the person will not speak up to a mere human to prove His own existance. He is much bigger than that, kind of getting in an argument with a toddler or infant to us.
When He does speak up, I wonder how many will doubt then?

God has not spoke nor shown himself to anyone on this board so how can you ask someone to "prove" he exists? Nor can anyone "prove" he does not exist.

Do you keep clothes that don't fit anymore, thinking they'll fit again.....
by JH inyesterday i bought a pair of jeans, and i don't take the same size as years ago.
from 31 inch waist 10 years ago, i buy 33 inch waist jeans now.
a few years ago, i bought many pairs of jeans, and didn't wear them much, thinking i'd be the same weight all my life....lol.

Women and Men....Can they be 'just good friends'........
by fifi40 ini regularly talk to a poster on this board via the pm system...............mainly because i like his mind.......today he suggested in reply to something i had said that basically men and women dont do friendship.........he asked the question 'why do people even bother with each other if they dont fancy each others intimacy?
'...............not that he was suggesting this about us.........but i am just wondering what you lot think.. it has been my experience to have some wonderful men friends...........i love mens company and their conversation..........now i am wondering if all those 'mates' were/are after something else............well not really........i am pretty sure at least some of them arent.. so whats your view/experience.........can men and women just be good friends.. oh and to my friend who i pm.........this is not a criticism of you.........i am interested in what others experiences are..........and i will give you a big kiss (on the cheek) one day when i see ya to make up for it.......... fi.

I have a lot of female friends via work and so forth, not one do I want to be with.
I am with my best friend already, why look for another.
I think it comes down to the core of the person and being realistic with their motives, we all need to check the man/woman in the mirror from time to time. Things can happen to anyone, dont get overly comfortable with the other person and keep it just friends.
