  How Dysfunctional A Witness Were You?

  reading posters' comments help me to see that since leaving "the organization", many have gotten emotionally better.

  of course, you don't have to be a witness to have dysfunction but feeling the pressure of always being told that we are inferior, that we're not doing enough, can get to the best of us!

  looking back, how dysfunctional were you??

  Changed 1914 doctrine ?

  so apparently the "society" has yet again changed another doctrine, a more recent one.

  they have changed the doctrine about some of the people living in the generation of 1914 would see the end of this system.

  please no criticism and such that people seem to spew!.

  i have not been to a bookstudy in a year or been door to door either.. been using travel and health of my wife and family (actually very true) but they're relentless!!!.

  Do you still call it "the truth"?

  do you find youself still calling it "the truth" even though you are an ex-jw?

  for instance, in one posting i just read, the poster wrote "when i was in the truth..." .

  not a big deal, perhaps, but really not such a good thing either as it's a habitual holdover from the program of mental conditioning we were subject to.

  the letter read in all the congregations about the "dangers" of my space and chat groups is followed up by this article in the mar 2007 awake obviously aimed at scaring dubby parents enough to keep a vigilante eye on their teens.

  like they really care about exposing teens to pervs.....its all about hiding the fact that they've always been full of crap....and on that note, here's the article:.
