I only know one JW personally and I cannot call him a friend, although I wish I could have. Once I found out what they think of people who are not of their persuasion, I was permanently offended. I do not believe I will ever overcome that feeling. Too bad these people cannot think for themselves. He himself would know that I am not evil and misguided. Actually he should know that, but once again he HAS to assume I am a follower of Satan. It's no wonder his life is so confused. Bill.

I like the cut of his jib.
Sir: for a brief moment you reminded me of the way Mr. Burns talks to his employees at the power plant. Excellent!!!
So you ask what's next. Well.... since this is a real estate corporation, and it is based in the U.S. of A.-and the US is in deep recession, I can predict a large financial loss on paper, that will defer taxes for some time that might offset the huge loss in donations that will continue throughout this and the next year. If this is not corrected, then I will predict that the 'net will expose the watchtower to the free thinking world and will hopefully irreperally harm the corporation. Sounds like a plan to me.

Did the WT Discourage Platonic Friendships Between Men & Women ?
by flipper inmy wife and i have discussed this before , and it has been an education for me getting out of the jehovah's witnesses over 4 years ago to see the difference in how witnesses and non-witnesses view this subject .
my wife before we met had some guy friends who she had non sexual friendships with and she was amazed when we first started dating when i told her how strict the witnesses were on men and women hanging out together alone just as friends , and that when i was a witness i never did that - at the risk of being falsely dragged before a committee if i was found in public alone with a witness woman !
my wife was amazed at the lack of trust that the elders had in each one of us as rank and file members !

there have been some cases of women throwing themselves at elders - Are you freaking kidding me? That has to be the most sexist pile of nonsense I have ever seen on this board. Like a bunch of pedophiles would never touch or hit on a woman. Pure sexist bull.
And as far as disgracing the Jehovah real estate corp, I think the GB has been successful in destroying what little crediblity the corp actually had with their own satanic behaivour.

Winnipeg Free Press has set up an online poll re: blood transfusions
by Dogpatch inpassing this on!.
randy.
the winnipeg free press has set up an online poll (see link below) asking.

The question is very vague. There is no reference to the refusal of adequate health care. Just because parents want to have the final say has little to do with the issue of blood.
If the question was "do parents have the right to choose a care policy that puts the child at grave risk including death". The response would be much different IMO.

Got told off by a born again-er
by White Dove ini was enjoying a smoke on my little porch at my apartments and my neighbors pull up.
the woman got out, pointed her finger at me and demanded what that "thing" in my hand was.
i proudly held up my hand with a fag in it.

As a background performer, I can tell you this is pretty good money. They will have a catering truck parked infront of your house as well. Be advised though, that this is taxable income.

As our part of the world has warmed up, I have noticed new speces of birds. Possibly from further south, and right now wishing they were back home. Weather alert-5-10 more cm's of snow tonight! The birdbath is frozen still!
