  I may lose my wife because of Disfellowshipping

  have only been out of the organisation for 2 months and the wounds still run deep.

  particularly hard is the fact that my wife and 8 yr old son are now divided in our beliefs.

  we cannot go out as a family with our old friends like we use to.

  hi guys and gals.

  i have been disfellowshipped for 2 months now and i feel so alone.i took the red pill and reality has hit me smack in the mouth.

  i go through all types of emotions - stronger than i've ever felt before e.g anger,sadness,elation,freedom,feeling super strong,feeling super weak etc.

  when i was an active jw, if there was an earthquake someplace, i'd be all excited .

  to be honest, i still love bad news .

  this issue came up back in 1994 when i met my wife to be.

  i was baptised and she had been brought up as a witness and had baptised witness parents.

  problem was she was unbaptised.

  "tell me what you know about jehovahs witnesses" he says.

  And By Their Fruits You Will Know Them

  so.... i took my mom to the doctor today, and my grandma (adopted) walked in, looked right at me and just looked away.

  no smile, nothing....

  this is the woman whom i have taken to the hospital, whom i have stayed with time after time when she had surgery so i could help her, whom has known me since i was tiny..... can you imagine not even smiling or acknowledging someone you have known since infancy, who has shown so much love and loyalty for you over the years?

  The Good Samaritan?

  most of us know the story of the good samaritan (luke 10:29-37).i used this in my judicial meeting to express my disgust with the disfellowshipping rule.. back in the 80's my sister was df'd .

  i was 14 and i remember mum telling her how stupid she was and everybody was in tears etc.

  well she had 2 little children and an old car at the time.she never missed a meeting and took her kids along with her.

  Is Smoking the practice of Spiritism?

  hi guys,.

  i was raised as a jw and was baptised when i was 16. i am now 35 and have finally realised that "the truth" is actually the opposite.. my family has a long history of mental illness and i am "lucky" to only suffer deppression and panic attacks.i believe what i was taught as truth has effected me adversely.

  e.g " you won't have to go to school son, armageddon will be here before then.
