as a result of wanting to have a normal life, away from the dogma of the jw religion,.

many have lost contact with parents, children and in many cases, their spouse.. my divorce was uncontested and i was fortunate enough to get out of from watchtower control with my children.

my parents were never involved with the religion,.

keith carradine has filed reports with the fbi that could lead to the agency's involvement, said mark geragos, lawyer for the "kung fu" actor's half-brother.

the fbi confirmed that carradine's family had contacted the agency.. .

thought of an old college classmate of mine, lori lieberman, who wrote the lyrics for "killing me softly with his song".

it was recorded by roberta flack.... anyway... thought i'd share... this is lori singing that song...which also appeared on her own album.. her website is here:.

aparently brother hurd says as of 2010 all the magazine printing and distribution will be moved to canada.

the only printing the us will do is the books.

Coptic John 1:1 makes it into the Watchtower.

wt november 1st has a two page article on how the early sahidic coptic version of the new testament translated god with an indefinite article in john 1:1 and argues this supports the new world translation's rendering "and the word was a god".

online witness apologists have been using this piece of evidence in support of the nwt for a few years now.

in particular solomon landers promoted the coptic version of john 1:1 in discussions with evangelicals and other who oppose witness theology.
